  1. The good news is, as a Moderator on the OC, you are in an excellent position to take the lead with the Mods/Admins here to make sure that a stop can be put to it I thought the remarks were very complimentary in general; you'd probably get more derogatory remarks from the haters on my350Z I really, and i mean, really cant be bothered with it all. I post on both forums, as I like to talk to people on both. Back to the BMW forum, I'd say its mostly positive, quite a friendly bunch. I know of the guy with the new M5 with the tubi exhaust on, and I must say, that car really has to be heard to be believed.
  2. Pissing in the shower, haha, he's good entertainment.
  3. Yeah, I agree. I was on about the bitching between Zed boards, its getting so tired now.
  4. Cool, come on fella's, cant we have at least one thread without all the bitching???
  5. No, same as that. Nothing much in the way of baffles, thats just a surge protector for the oil pickup. A proper sumped baffle looks nothing like that. I just went on advice from the experts, may as well get it properly sorted while its all in bits, I thought.
  6. just a cardboard cutout of the car sat in the house! Actually, that would probably be more interesting than watching BB.
  7. Problem with the standard sump is the lack of baffles, nothing in it at all to prevent surge. The APS one doesnt contain that much in the way of baffles either, I had mine modified for when on the track. Mind you, low oil wont do you much good either!

  9. Taking it upto 3.8 is an option when you sleeve the block, its not 3.8 by default. I personally wouldnt go 3.8, as it reduces the mating surface of the headgasket by quite alot.
  10. Shame Pete didnt get any help with his.
  11. Me too mate! If your gonna be a bear, you may as well be a grizzly..........or care bear.......or gummi bear actually.
  12. I do think too much locking of threads goes on, on both boards. It annoys the @*!# out of me, so I can see how it would do so for others. Peace!
  13. Car spent 2 hours on the dyno getting the nackers screwed off it, but on the road, I've had it at about 85% of full power a couple of times. So far so good, I'll keep you posted if it blows up!
  14. 530 bhp so far so good.
  15. Mine are set to medium settings for the shocks, and lowered 10mm. Perfect for road use.
  16. LOL, didnt see that, maybe not. Parmesan might be hard to wash off n all.
  17. Definitely 10.5 on the rear, I'd say. One tip, keep cleaning those lips, the salt plays havoc with them.
  18. When you say how you like it, do you mean height wise?? if so, then with the KW variant 2 you can adjust the height as well as the rebound, so still gives you plenty of options.
  19. KW Variant 3, thats what I've got. Its absolutely superb, rides better than standard, no crashing over bumps. Fully adjustable, and has transformed the cars handling.
  20. Nice one, needs lowering slightly, now.
  21. If your gonna pay for it, get some decent uprated ones that will not go wrong! Mine were about 500 quid (including shipping etc). Fitting isnt a massive job.
