  1. Now sold, thanks for the Interest. Gone to a good home. Kevin
  2. Thanks for the kind words guys! Thought I may have taken a bit of stick on these as I can understand they won't be to everyone's taste. The fit and finish of the wings on the whole is great, all the panel gaps are even and the bolts matched up as standard without any alterations. My only little complaint is that on the passenger side the top of the wing is flicked up a little and sits little proud of the bonnet but I am sure I will be able to perfect this with a few simple tweaks here and there, I will let you know how I get on. Thanks Kevin
  3. Probably not for the subtle modders out there, but I absolutly love the look and can't wait till the Zed goes into the paint shop at the weekend. Think the vents really suit the look of the car should also be functional helping to cool the brakes. I have some mesh to fit under the vents once the wings are painted. The fenders are produced by Border in Japan and were very expensive but I think it will be worth it once completed, should finish off the look I am trying to acheive. They were also a little lighter than the Aluminium wings which should all start to add up with the other weight saving mods. Thanks Kevin

  6. Had a good weekend, although a little tiring being here both days. You can see my pic's here: http://www.envyperformance.com/picasa/ISTS2008/index.html My personal favourite. Looks like the "Z" really is a babe magnet! Thanks Kevin
  7. Hi all, most of you on here already know I also drive a rather fast Toyota Supra that has been kicking around the drag scene and shows for the last few years. The final incarnation of the car is featured in both Max power and Banzai this month, so may be worth purchasing for anyone that is interested, could certainly be worth a sly look in "WH Smiths Libary" while the wifes shoping! . It actually made the main cover car on Banzai and the secondary inlaid car on Max Power cover. See below: Banzai Max Power Thanks Kevin
  8. The Yen exchange rate has really slumpt in recent months currently hovering around the JPY200 - £1 mark. It was 250 at its highest but has really taken a nose dive. The current price for just the hatch would be £795 the perspex rear window would be £295. Thanks Kevin
  9. Kept the rims on but have been Ultra carefull, just incase. The car has only really been driven on dry days and the wheels have been repeatly washed and waxed every week. Been using the Mequires wax on the wheels which seams to have worked for me. Thanks Kevin

  11. Well I have fitted a Varis carbon bonnet, and am looking for further weight saving tips if anyone has any. Thanks Kevin
  12. Not sure on the exact weight saving but it was at least less than half the weight and probably more. The OEM hatch is very heavy. I will check with Varis and see what they come back with. Thanks Kevin
  13. Been a busy week with the Zed carrying out a few modifications to the car to get it ready for the coming show season. The weather seams to be picking up a bit and hopefully we might of seen the last of the dreaded salt! Fitted the Endless Racing 4 rear brake to the car which match's the Endless Racing 6 front brake kit already fitted to the car. The disc's on the rear now measure 332mm and are 2 piece rotors. Not had much chance to drive the car yet and bed them in but I will let you guys know how I get along over the course of the weekend, will probably be bedding them in later today. Also took the oportunity to check the car over for any signs of deterioration due to salt damage. The RSR suspension was holding up well to the rigours of our British weather with no noticable corrosion. I also checked the Endless 6 front setup and again all was well with no visable corrosion on any part of the kit, including the bolts and lines on the caliper, which have been a problem on some of the other BBK's out there. Some pic's with the wheels fitted: Thanks Kevin
  14. Well after having the Varis carbon hatch sitting around for around 6 months I finally got time to fit it last Saturday afternoon. It was a little tricky to fit in particularly been brave enough to drill the carbon to fit the "Power Enterprise" rear spoiler. :o This job is most definatly a two man job as the stock hatch is really heavy and needs alot of care when moving it off the car. One slip and it would make a nasty mess of your paint work. Rather than utilise the standard glass I opted to go for a perspex rear window. I called the profesionals in to fit this and they did a good job. One thing I have noticed is the perspex is easy to scratch so you need to be very carefull when cleaning the car. It was amazing how much lighter the carbon hatch is compared to the standard hatch which ways an absolute tone. My previously tired bonnet lifters that had previously given up the ghost, but now operate with reniewed vigour and lift the new hatch with ease. I decided to save weight further and did not refit the rear wiper or motor. I do however need to find a suitable gromit for the hole as I am currently using electrical tape to stop any water ingress. I was a little worried about the carbon rear spoiler been fitted to the carbon hatch but I used several extra big washers and metal plates on the underside of the carbon skin on the hatch to make sure it is'nt going any where. Although tempted to save further weight I decided to refit all the interior pannels back to the hatch to give it that OEM look from inside. Here's the pic's, it's worth noting the fitment and quality of the weave on the Varis items. They really do make the best Carbon parts avialable bar none! Thanks Kevin
  15. Hi Damian, OK fair enough, there was complications with the order I'll admit that, but we kept sending out parts that we had in stock to try and fix the situation. Like I said, the Volk wheels we initially ordered were on the conservative offset size because this is what Rays Japan recommended - they still would have fitted, cleared calipers and suspension and above all not have rubbed. Just because they weren't the look/offsets you wanted doesn't make them unsuitable. Above all, any problem than anyone has, you can always pick up the phone and speak to us, we are human after all. Having looked through your emails I can see where the problem has arisen - you told us you wanted 66.1mm (ID) spigot rings after you had already told us they fitted the car (which is 66.1mm ID) and not the wheels (most JDM wheels are 73mm OD, which this Enkei was not, a rare case). All I can do is apologise that you felt disillusioned with our customer service and our technical expertise in this case. I am offering to cover the cost of your valves and spigot rings - please let me know by email or PM and I'll send you a cheque. Regards, Gaz.
  16. Hi Damian, We didn't sell wheels to Sarnie, he's just upset because he now has a Lambo The LE37s we sent you first time round were higher offsets than you wanted (obviously we didn't know this until you received them) they still would have fitted though! We did change them for another set for you, no hassle... Its quite acceptable by Japanese standards (as they are more conservative than the US market) to have anything from a +17 to +35 on a Zed though, just most people *prefer* the look of a +22. Unfortunately its not available for all designs though. Regards, Gaz.
  17. I beg your pardon? Me and Kevin have been selling wheels exclusively for Japanese cars for 5 years. We are experts on wheel fitments and offsets and advise many UK traders on this. To say we don't know what does and doesn't fit is an insult. Sorry for the interruption Phil. Regards, Gaz.
  18. I got the copies of Subaru and Evo but no Nissan Hehe, sorry
