  6. under the European block exemtion rules.. any dealer can serving and repair cars under makers warranty period, so long as they are qualified and Genuine parts used taken from their site .... EC Competition Law (Articles 84 and 85) Enforcement Regulations 2001; EC Regulation 1400/2002; Regulation 17 of the 1998 Competition Act QUESTION .......What effect will the new block exemption have on the car repair and servicing market? These changes will mean more competition in the servicing and repair market leading to lower costs and higher standards for consumers. The after-sales market will be opened up, with a change to the rules linking new car sales and servicing. Dealers will still have to ensure that customers' cars are serviced and repaired to manufacturer-approved standards, but they will no longer have to do it themselves; and, independent garages and roadside assistance organisations will have much greater access to technical information, including diagnostic equipment and software. To be frank the Nissan Main dealer network would be the last place my Zed would go for any repairs / servicing etc.. ..
  7. See these all the time on Ebay and Autotrader, no contact tel no. just an email address.... done to aquire as many email address's as possible to send spam and worse maybe clone accounts ..do not ask questions by email to ads like this !!
  8. only the true pedigree sports cars are , and will buck the depreciation trap.. certain Ferrari's, Older 911's, Early SL's, even Triumph Stags, E type's etc.. but all will have to be mint to avoid monetary loss.. even then the upkeep to run and maintain one if run on a daily basis would be horrendous The guy's that write this rubbish ought to be the first into the dole office
  9. If you need a motor , I have a used item available, that I took out of a tailgate I sold
  10. I think their reticence on putting on a replacement gear knob will be the high price (about £200 I seem to think ) rather than the availability
  11. Maybe ?, the one I had was a beautifully made item , just a bit quiet I think they must have changed it by now
  12. as some of you may remember I have a bought an old SL Merc the head unit is the original Blaupunkt unit (complete with cassette player !! ) I just want to replace it with a nice head unit , nothing fancy or expensive , not really into ICE so any suggestions what to throw in the slot (single din fitting by the way ) also nothing too futuristic to keep the look right on a 25 year old car
  13. my miltek sounded nothing like that , or I would have kept it photo of my Miltek when I hads removed it for sale (think it made £350 S/H ?? but it was a couple of years ago now )
  14. no 19" rims will not give problems, unless you dont stick to recommended sizes then you will have the same problem again
  15. Your problem is the tyres fitted, just replace with the correct size and profile and you will be OK, or alternatively do what I do just switch the Traction control off..it is very intrusive even during normal driving conditions...so long as you don't try anything silly you will be fine Calibration of the traction control by any methods dont seem to work, a lot of the US forums posted up various remedies but they were all nothing more than snake oil
  16. 8000+ post's and I get called shirty

  19. you'll need hoses disc's and the calipers...Why bother though I find the std JDM calipers more than up to the job , even on the few track sessions I have done just upgrade the brake fluid and pads Why would you need discs? Are they diferent sizes? Think so..

  21. The original JDM battery is very small compared to UK cars, I swopped mine for the biggest one I could cram in the compartment see this post or try search button http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... ht=battery
