All the Blitz panel filters are indeed like this - as are the Blitz SUS kits. They used to do a Blitz "metal flow" kit which I believe has been discontinued now. I remember seeing filtration tests on them though and they weren't as good as the cotton type ones. Recently Blitz have introduced the "Blitz Advanced Power Air Intake Kit" which features a whole new stainless steel mesh filter design (no filtration data available at the moment though afaik). Wow, and digging around on my hard drive I actually found a pic of the Mitsubishi FTO I had before the 350z from which the number plate M101 YSG actually came from. You car has some history!

Could be due to the depreciation of the £ vs the yen You aint kidding - the Yen is at a 5 year + all time high against the UK pound. Add to that the cost of shipping from Japan which has increased, plus all the companies in Japan are putting up their prices too. We've seen some prices increase by 45 to 50% MORE than 6 months ago. This is mirrored (to a lesser extent) by whats happening with £ vs $ with prices rising by around 25% on imports from America. It's a tough time for importers (great for exports though!). Worth also noting, whereas 6 months ago, Nissan Japan parts could be imported and sold here between 20 to 45% less than Nissan UK prices, now it's pretty much like for like - but watch out, I can see Nissan UK prices rising soon once UK stocks are depleted of spare parts. Time to get those lottery numbers on I think Chris

I had previously wired in a LED bar into the roof of my car, taking a feed from the circuit of the lights already in the roof. So I just ran a feed off that down inside the A-pillar and across to the footwell LEDs. Not really difficult, but knowing there is already a pre-wired plug would have 1/2'ed the job time -

Gawd I wish I had read this before I did the same job to my car 2 weeks ago. Ended up wiring it a different way but works the same as the standard interior lights. Used 2 LED light bars on each side which cost me something like £1 each from the local cash and carry. A bit of creative soldering and the job was done

I had similar problems fitting the same item to my car. It took a lot of trimming and some good 3M tape to get it to sit flat. Got it as a test product really, but seeing how poor it was, decided not to stock it at JDM Performance.

Jsut a quick note, we do the ones as per previous group buy, but we've negotiated a better price and cheaper way of exporting them from USA. We have them in stock too! Chris

I've got the Carbign Craft CF mirrors on mine... look slightly different than yours where they clip around the standard housing... I'll get some pics and post them up so you can see. Chris

I live near Edinburgh and would be happy to let you hear my Z with Apexi N1 mid pipe and back box. Give me the Xmas weekend and I'll be getting a Mongoose y Pipe and decats on it too which I would assume would change the noise... soooo if you wanna hear a Y-pipe back Apexi N1 then speak now, or if you wanna hear a Apexi and Mongoose hotch-potch of an exhaust, speak later !
