JDM Performance

We've just got delivered a set of the UR lightened pulleys inc the crank pulley. Will be fitting them in the new year. You're right about torque settings, but the instructions with them specify exactly what you need to do and what torque settings you need to fit them with. You will not get any extra bhp with these (cant believe people thought you would??) but what it proclaims to do is provide less moving mass for the engine to turn, allowing the energy which it would have used to turn the heavy pulleys, to be used elsewhere (for example, moving the crank). So really its advertising is "allows more of the engine's power to be put down onto the road" but in reality, on their own, the gains would be almost insignificant. That said.. every little helps.. Quick update, thought I'd post here rather than in PMs - we cant get these as LEDs or in blue colour... sorry :-/ Might be able to get a bulb cover, like the orange one in the picture, but in blue....

Not all JDM's have those lights - mine doesnt. I fitted the LED bars too (although mine were from that fantastic JDM Performance company ) Chris

Hmm, there must be a way around this.... will have to have a think. Any chance you could check the part you have Wez for any part numbers on it? Also did you get the centre consol part with the handbrake part in it too? Chris

I'm looking to swap out the Y pipe for something better than standard. Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations? I've been flicking through the Hyper Rev book for 350z and am leaning more towards just going for something off the wall like Mines or Yashio Factory but... no info really about them in terms of gains.. Any comments? Chris

I fancy changing out my '03 interior centre consol and heater controls/gear surround panels for the newer designs. Anyone done this yet? To order the parts from Japan I also need the Nissan part numbers... dont suppose anyone with a facelift model can contact their Nissan dealer and quiz them for the part numbers to replace theirs and give them to me to get them from Japan? Some great info there but sadly not what I am looking for. It's just one sheet and has check boxes on it for P1, P2 and P3 services, and in the bottom right is has a bodywork diagram... Does that help?

hehe yeah, managed to get a mirror in there (JUST!) along with a pack of napkins and then across the road to the shopping centre after, we managed to load it up with 2 bottles of wine, a roll of cotton wool and a tie... and that was the boot full! Yes I know, a strange combination of purchases...

Wondering if you can help. I know somewhere online you can download a copy of the Nissan Service Checklist sheet but I've gone and lost where. Oh - thought i might mention, the supplier also said that there was no stock until June. And then only 5 are coming in of which 3 are already sold. Check your suppliers for stock guys, might be a shortage. We dont keep any Z exhausts on the shelf either but we can normally supply Mongoose or Blue Flame pretty quickly, direct from the manufacturers. Chris
