  4. Ok guys, mines been clicking for a while now but is getting worse and has got to the point that its annoying me so I thought I might get something done about it. Mines a '52 JDM and done about 20,000. Not been in before to get axles greased or parts replaced, but has been in my local Nissan garage (Arnold Clark) in Livingston twice before. Question is - am I likely to get shafted for this to be fixed? PLEASE tell me there's a common re-call and I just have to ask for the free fix? Any other advice to arm myself with (yes, I've searched the forum already). Has anyone had dealings with a dealer in central scotland who is sympathetic to this problem that I could go to? Cheers Chris

  10. Brake pads: We do a large range of different pads for both Brembo and non-Brembo JDM cars. De-limiting - the only one on the market that we know of which works with the Z is the HKS SLD (also available on our site). Fitting is relatively easy but you do need to solder some wires. If in doubt at all, get an auto electrician to fit it. HTH Chris

  19. Aye I've got an Informeter on it just now - doesnt indicate that there is an error code. Those companies are miles from us - we're up in Scotland. I'd be good to get the nissan software. It must be available somewhere. I can get the VAG software for nowt :-/
  20. I've already bought 2 different eBay checkers and they dont work - but worked fine on my Focus. I'll re-try the pedal thingie again but really I'd like the software. Anyone had any experience of laptop software use with the Z? Chris

  23. Welllllll that's what i thought last time, but when i took it to the stealer they said it was a lambda error, and they just checked the sensor, it was working fine, so they reset the ecu using their software and said to go away until it breaks.... and charged me for the pleasure. Which made me think this might be the same again and so if i could check that it is the same thing by reading the code, then i could reset it myself. Course i need a way of reading the code - can anyone help? Chris PS: Doing the pedal thing doesnt work on my car - and i have no idea why - and god knows I've tried and tried to get it to work....
