Anyone had experience of doing this with an import? I think mine's just started doing it. Sadly it has been doing it since I took it for an MOT and they proded around underneath. Now it clicks sometimes - grrr... Anyway, what's the deal with an import bought not from a UK dealer? Chris

Here's one for the technical boffins...... Do you know if the import 350z is OBD2 compliant, or is it OBD1 only? ...and also, is the UK one different because we currently think that UK cars are OBD2... but dont know about the JDM model. Any ideas folks? Cheers Chris

Have you considered our Nismo oil filters for the Z? They couldnt argue with a filter which is made by Nissan's motorsport wing...? Chris

Yeah it was good to meet you both. Great to see an Auto 'in the flesh' cause I've never seen one for real. Perhaps we could begin organizing regular meets (although with the weather like it is, it may be a better idea to make it next year?). Chris

I have 2 different hand held ECU code checker devices, neither of which likes talking with my (import) Z's ECU. Would anyone with a UK model like to volunteer to let me try and plug these into their car on the day to see wether its just cause mine's an import, or if these devices are no use for the Z at all? I hired a roadster for a week and I actually loved it. I think it looks fantastic with the hood up or down and there's nothing to beat driving with the hood down, sun out and among tall buildings to the soundtrack of that fantastic engine. Mind you, the fact that I was driving it around Monaco might have something to do with it :-D That said, I bought a coupe. The only reason really was the price - just couldnt streatch to a roadster. However I was also concerned about security if I left it anywhere overnight. Certainly if anyone offered a swap of a roadster for my coupe I'd jump at the chance. Still wouldnt have any other car than a Z though. Chris
