  1. I have ONE ONLY, 350Z Nissan accessory boot tray/liner available. List price £135.09 + VAT - this one only £95 + VAT. Durable textile face on rubber base - impervious to fluids and featuring "Z" logo. Listed for direct purchase on our newly refurbished On-Line Shop at www.mjpshop.co.uk, or call 01277 374201 to secure.
  2. Three weeks would indicate that the part may have to come from Japan, i.e. no UK stock and no European stock. Nissan levels on some key parts is often low, but hopefully they'll get the message when more things start going wrong...
  3. Kelvedon Hatch has its very own Joy Fook just round the corner from MJP!

  5. In some mitigation, Nissan have a similar design with the Z32 rear bearing - you have to buy part of the hub assembly with the bearing installed. The recommendation is that you should replace the wheel carrying part of the hub also - most owners don't. However, if you let the bearing continue to grumble you end up with a situation where this is essential anyway, more than doubling the cost of the exercise. With the Z33 it would seem that Nissan are trying to avoid a possible complaint process whereby you replace the bearing and then part way through its life have to replace it again because the wheel carrying part fails and takes the new bearing with it...
  6. Stillen shifter is a version of the Nismo adjustable - price approx. £195 depending on whether I'm shipping loads or little...up to 20% off on a big shipment. They still rattle a bit BTW!
  7. Can I direct your attention to: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=97 The structure to drag with other Zs is already in place...
  8. Reference the Ebay links above - front wheel bearings are in common through the Z range up to the last of the Z31 300ZX in 1989, after that the design changes completely. The 350Z is no exception and the bearing comes in a hub assembly which includes the wheel mounting flange and new wheel studs - hence the expense. The second link is for a secondhand part and postage is another $90 on top of the price - thus £95 for a used part and the possibility of duty, VAT and clearing fees on top of that...
  9. I have a pair of 40202-AL510 bearings in stock. Our discount price would normally be £162.19 + VAT (15% off dealer retail). However, for anyone in immediate trouble with this part, I can offer forum members (get a discount code) an additional 20% off our retail on this pair only (i.e. while current stock lasts), making them £129.75 + VAT per side. The part number would appear to be good for JDM also... For reference, MJP offer a sliding scale of discount (depends on what Nissan give their dealers) on all Nissan OEM parts and can readily check and source JDM parts and assess differences...
  10. The Z Club will be there and normally book a 40 car area. If you want to co-host then let me know and I'll get a bigger area than that! Drag Challenge now not run on these big shows due to difficulty in getting enough runs, but a great show at JapShow 1 and 2 nevertheless!
  11. Possibly also at Rotorstock 12 August and Retro Show 7 July. As for 2006, points will be scored at each official round in classes appropriate to cars run. Cash prize to overall winner (and probably Runner-up). Overall and class trophies awarded. Thanks to sponsors of the event: D.J. 12. Most of them seem to rattle either a bit or, in the cheaper eBay versions, a lot. I have a Stillen adjustable version - four positions from -40% to +20% compared to stock - quickly changed with car at rest, no dismantling.
  13. Now also On-Line - a selection of scale models of Zs. To be honest, availability on most is poor, but they make a nice browse to see what could be available. Mostly 350Z stuff... Link to http://www.mjpauto.com and scroll through the books and DVDs to find the Model Shop! I feel a Zmas coming on!
  14. A small selection of Z related DVDs now available! Link to http://www.mjpauto.com and scroll through the bookstore (buying some books as you pass, of course...). Any suggestions for films with major Z involvement to link would be much appreciated - already have F & F series and Blind Date (for the Z31 afficionado). What others would you like to see?
  15. New to the MJP web site and in association with Amazon - access your very own Z specific book store. All the available Z books that Amazon list gathered together in one place - order secure in the knowledge that you will be dealing with the biggest and the best e-retailer in the market. Just link to the MJP (Eastern Auto) Home Page http://www.mjpauto.com and scroll down to find the embedded book store! Happy Xmas shopping! DVDs and more to come!
  16. A local salvage yard has this '05 Roadster, claimed damaged repairable now cleared for sale - UK car with OSF impact, scraped down both sides full length, seat air bags popped. I think they want too much for it at £11,500, but if anyone is interested, contact me on 01277 374201. I have more pics and will put you in touch...
  17. A reminder that The Z Club runs a Drag Race Challenge for members and guests and would love to see more 350Z times on the Pod quarter. We normally have six rounds per year and also visit for both JapShow weekends. Points, prizes and the best real world dyno in the UK... For Z Hall of Fame for drag times posted by all Z and ZX models in the UK, visit http://www.zclub.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2231&d=1156786768 This is our Excel file which will eventually expand to a top 100 (currently capped at 14.9). Supplement pages are for the Drag classes used for our Challenge - 350Z sparsely populated Class 6.
  18. Still available - listed on my On-Line Shop at this special price also - www.mjpshop.co.uk.
  19. Two only available at this price - Nissan OEM carbon fibre look bumper insert - see: Nissan list £209.10 + VAT, these two only £99.00 + VAT + carriage each (or collect). When they're gone, they're gone... Self adhesive 5-minute fit; instant cure for lower bumper stone chips; 2003-2005 models only.
  20. Passed my MOT this morning BTW - no emissions problems with high-flow CATs and headers, no requirement for working headlamp washers...
  21. Stew - I can't comment, but I can tell you that you live in the same area as my customer!!
  22. Now that we are in the month when the first UK cars are heading for MOT time, take heed of the experience of a Scottish customer of mine - Having taken his car to the local main dealer, he got a call to tell him it had failed on pad wear and disc rotor thickness. They quoted in excess of £1000 to carry out the necessary work. Slightly bemused, he took the car away and sought second opinions. The pads were found to have plenty of life, the discs, although slightly ridged, were well within specification and an MOT was obtained elsewhere without trauma. To add insult, he discovered that the retail price of the discs had been bumped up by almost £100 a corner on the quote from the main dealer and that on his service they had charged him £36 for the general purpose mineral oil supplied across the Nissan parts counter for about £12! It is my opinion that Nissan will be looking to generate some return on their sales from MOT work, so make sure what you are being told is really necessary. My own MOT is tomorrow morning - NOT with Nissan, suffice to say...
  23. They are unbranded, but look identical to the set I have used on my own car which fit and have caused no problems...
  24. Set of stainless header manifolds for 350Z with all gaskets and bolts. Arrived in error for one of my 300ZX trader colleagues - cost over £350 inc. taxes and carriage, he wants just £250 + £15 carriage returned to get them out of the way as he does not deal with any 350Z products. Call 01277 374201 to arrange shipment...
  25. I can assure that my little percentage remains unchanged...
