  1. Sadly this not for me, but there will be pictures and coverage - can't say more.
  2. Anyone got any leads for someone looking to get a 350Z as a hire car on a visit to Tokyo??
  3. If you've been following the Nissan phone integration saga you'll know that is an unanswerable question. Suffice to say, when I have the first one I'll post it up here and on the Z Club site within minutes!
  4. I'll let you know when I have the kit in my hands!
  5. There's not much margin in these and I've already eroded into my normal margin for the price quoted. However, once I've actually got one in my hands I'll make some enquiries for bulk purchase - numbers will need to be high, not just five or ten....
  6. Blue PopCharger oil in stock at MJP - just call... We also stock the K & N clean/re-oil kit.
  7. The part number for the BlueTooth adapter for the 350Z is now live on the Nissan system . I've ordered one as a trial and await with interest to see how long it might take to arrive. Price will be £85.50 + VAT. Pre-orders now accepted if required and shipped as soon as I have them available.
  8. Don't get too excited - I'm not about to announce that they are now available! Latest report from Nissan states that "...our suppliers have suffered a fatal breakdown of one of their production lines..." So, guess what? Bluetooth deadlines will not be met again and they have no positive information on when they will be available... Keep watching - I'll get you the information as soon as I have it!
  9. For spares from a Fairlady import auto I have contact with one being broken. No exterior panels worth having, interior pretty well trashed, but mechanically....
  10. 1167 relates to the 2nd Oxygen sensor on the LH bank, i.e. post CAT. Possible disturbance of the wiring or connector damaged / unplugged?

    Foot mats

Still around - still busy doing Z parts - mats still available! And all the other stuff your Z needs...
  12. Pretty sad mechanics if they take two days to remove a gearbox, replace a release bearing and put it back. My guy could do that in less than a day on his own...
  13. Also Round 3 of the Z Club Drag Challenge. Z Club members can get their privileged parking pass from me to avoid being herded into the public car park. Call 01277 374201....
  14. Asked Nissan for clarification on emissions for '06 models. Got the following reply: "Dear Michael Feeney, Thank you for your recent e-mail. This information has not currently been made available to us. Please contact us later in the year for future updates. Kind Regards, Nissan Customer Support Nissan Customer Service www.nissan.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Correspondence: Please provide current emissions data for the '06 model 350Zs" Only a month to go before official release....don't we just love them. Also noticed, '03-'05 coupe rated at 276 g/Km CO2, but "dirty" convertible is 288 g/Km
  15. Injen do a dedicated cover. Front mounted air filter improves over-rich UK top end AFR, so a worthwhile enhancement IMO. Just mind the puddles...
  16. Bluetooth adapter kits are available for most of the '06 Nissan range, but the 350Z version is "still undergoing development". How hard can it be?
  17. Waiting for my local dyno guys to get some repairs to their system done to see if recent changes have had any effect, after which there may or may not be some interest in the UTEC. The Stillen piggyback is an intercept of crank trigger and cam sensors coupled with a boost input - progressively controls timing under boost and triggers a seventh injector, but configured by them with no user input available. I've added a Blitz R-FIT to trim fuelling, but presently set flat until we gather more data. A basic exhaust reading after a long hard thrash indicates that we are running top end rich currently! There's a surprise for the U.K. ECU - not! Safe at least! The real problem has been that the boost doesn't reach the predicted level, so that area needs sorting first before any more tweaking mods are done.
  18. I can't promise to commit to the York rounds due to HSCC 240Z racing dates and other stuff, but I'm going to try to get to one of them....Peter will look after you and make sure those quick times are genuine! Try to do at least one of the Pod dates if only for the comparitive data.
  19. Further to information on the Z Club Drag Challenge: As previously discussed, it has been decided to add two York Dragway dates to the Z Club Drag Challenge calendar. These rounds are open to all Z Club members in the same way as the rounds at Santa Pod, but at the end of the season, competitors will only be able to present their best six points scoring rounds towards the Challenge total. If you attend all eight dates, you will have to drop two. It is assumed that you will present your six best points scores. 30th April - 2NZ Includes RWYB sessions interspersed with Elimination rounds of the Northern Drag Racing Championship. Also you will automatically be entered into a 0-60mph competition which will run throughout the day. 18th June - Ultimate Road Car Challenge - RWYB sessions interspersed with Ford Shootout, Modder's Eliminations and Wizards of NOS Eliminations. The official in charge at these two meetings will be Peter MacDonald - all times and tickets to be presented to him. Please note that at York, all competitors are expected to wear a crash helmet. You will need to get your car scrutineered before signing on - they will be hot on things like loose batteries and other loose items, efficiency of throttle return springs, brakes that work and security of bodywork!

  21. The Z Club has run a mini drag race series at RWYB events for many years. There are significant changes to classes and rules this year and an overall Champion will be produced. There is a sponsored cash and goodies prize on offer. I'd like to invite all 350 owners to come and play in the 350 class or our Super Modified Class, although to be eligible for points and prizes you need to be Z Club members also...www.zclub.net. Dates.......... Test day 19th March - pre-season test day for hardy types Round 1 9th April (with an option to attend Peak Performance Test & Tune Day on the 8th) Round 2 13th May Round 3 24/25th June Round 3 - Jap Show weekend Round 4 16th July Round 4 Round 5 13th August Round 5 Round 6 3rd September (with an option to attend Peak Performance Test & Tune Day on 2nd) Presentations 8th October Jap Show - more relaxed Show & Shine and trophy presentations. Rules/Class structures........... Class 1 will be for S30 cars, i.e. all 240Z, 260Z, 260Z 2+2 and any import varieties that are deemed to fit this bracket. No distinction is being made regarding modified or un-modified and anything goes (multiple carbs. of any size, injection, bored and stroked, LSD) as long as the original series engine, normally aspirated, remains the core of the project. No turbo cars – these move into the new Class 3 – see below. No nitrous oxide injection and no slicks, however. Use of either or both of these two items automatically lifts you into the Super-Mod / Hybrid Class. Class 2 will be for S130 and Z31 normally aspirated models only. Any mods allowed apart from turbos as long as the original engine configuration remains the core concept. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 3 will be for forced induction cars from the S30, S130 and Z31 model range – factory turbo, aftermarket turbo or supercharger, this is where you will compete. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 4 will be for the growing band of Z32 NA models. In 2005 this generated its own mini-shoot outs, so could be a very competitive class. All mods allowed as long as no forced induction. No NoS or slicks – see above. Class 5 will be for the army of modified Z32 Twin Turbos – no holds barred; if you have 600bhp you race with the 350bhp guys! As above, however, no NoS and no slicks – let traction be the equaliser! Class 6 will be for the Z33, modified or forced induction. No NoS, no slicks as above. Class 7 is now for Super Modified cars - essentially it is a combination of Hybrid cars and extreme modded versions running the original engine (engine swaps, enough horsepower to need slicks, NoS if you like). Previous competitors with triple 48s etc. will be pleased to know they no longer have to race here as long as their engine configuration is as the manufacturer intended. Full details of the points structure to be published in the new edition of the Z Club Magazine.
