stick around
we haven't minded him trying to pull our leg.
most people on here are savvy enough to notice automotive bovine excreatia when we see it.
but i think we all enjoyed reading this thread.
no one is cross or upset. (as far as i know) I'm a teacher and i must admit i'm impressed with his car knowledge for 16.

just fitted the Pop charger
nice looking bit of kit.
still need more noise.
does the kit bed in and improve over time, as it seems quiet.
i know it needs an exhaust, but will have to wait for now
its got a nice sound

easily spending as much if not more than £5500 for FI
is it worth it ?
Oh Yes
i meant it as in why not just go FI its far easier

I dont believe its possible to get 470 whp N/A in a road driving Z...
i agree,
pushing close to 400 bhp, but still being NA would be an extremely hard and expensive task.
470 bhp and NA your mechanic must be the messiah of motot mechanics!
either way your still looking at a new ECU and tuning which isn't cheap.
can you get throttle bodies for a v6?
port it and polish it maybe
increase the cylinder bore?
possible water spray system?
nos
stroker kit
change clutch, lighter fly wheel,
complete exhaust rework from the manifold back.
easily spending as much if not more than £5500 for FI
is it worth it ?
but i'm happy to be proved wrong.

The S3 is the better option,
its a golf with a 2 litre turbo engine, but the styling is bland, perfect stealth sleeper.
and because its turbo'd it won't be difficult to boost the power even more.

welcome to the mad house

Also does anyone know where to get a new facia to fit where the cubby was?
-
i was looking at getting one of these and intergrating it into the cubby hole.
its said tha the little amp wires into the original system and controls the oem system audio volume.
what i need to know after reading above is how likely is this.
i don't want to buy this and find i cant hardwire it into the car.

Washed and waxed the car this morning, looking very shiney now
as i have only had the car for 2 weeks, and this is the first time i have cleaned it, its amazing how washing it yourself shows you all the paint imperfections.
i have one or two stone chips around the bumpers, but thats expected, and considering its 2 years old its in pretty good nick.
i waxed the car but after it felt smooth like glass, but with a slight rough texture, i'm guessing that if i clay the car it will fix that.
also i have a small chip on the rough just above the windscreen but it has a little rust patch. whats the best way of fixing that, as i don't want it to get worse. and i want to protect the nice paint, especially as its nissan and the paint is pressumably wafer thin.
i currently use megauirs wax

this was posted before on the orange peel thread
but it is shocking

in my old car i had the perfect manifold, exhaust, induction setup.
it was so good through the dartford tunnel i turned round and went back through.
it was so good i did it 4 times. i was 2 hours late home, but it was worth it
-
thanks mate
-
yep, i bought your grounding kit earlier
-
Wicked write up and looks good , are you happy with the outcome ?
I am, just a bit dissapointed with the whole colour thing, but same as stock so cant really complain.....loks awesome in the day though. Goes well with the interior.
