  1. Thanks Silverthorn. Great info! Have to say my several sets of BCs on previous mx5s and present, have all been rock solid with no leaks, and funnily enough, I was thinking of going the 12k/10k route, but was scared it would be too hard for the state of the pot holey roads all over the place at minute.
  2. Hi folks. Does anyone know if there are any differences between 350z and 370z coilover sets by any chance? I'm only asking, as there seems to be way more different spring stiffness options available on the 350z coilovers, than whats available on any 370z coilovers sets I can find online for sale. I see BC racing have different part numbers, but HSD don't even list for the 370z. Any info gratefully accepted, before I pull the trigger on buying . Thanks, Mike.
  3. Just bought new short tails, and K&N filters. Just need some coilovers now, Fronts 10-11kg/mm, rears 8-10kg/mm, would be rough guidelines. No Tein street z please.
  4. Hi folks, Slowing tickling my new to me 370z to the way I want her, and now the new low offset wheels have arrived, I've realised I don't like the nose heavy look of the eibach 20mm lowering springs, now the 20" gtrs are off the car. I presently run bc coilovers on my daily mx5, and the mx5 before it, so want to fit coilovers onto the 370z. Now when checking this suspension page, any coilover reviews are quite old now, so after seeing all the options on Tarmac's site, I'm hoping someone can give me their opinions on the up to date coilover options, recently fitted? I see Tarmac are doing : 1. BC coilovers 10kg F / 8kg R or 12kg F / 10kg R options. Anyone running the harder option? 2. HSD 11kg F / 10kg R 3. Tein Flex Z 14kg F / 12kg R Open to suggestions / feedback on any other recently fitted coilovers. Cheers in advance, Mike.
  5. I know this is an old post, but I wouldn't be recommending the eibach 20mm lowering springs at all. Ones fitted in my 370z,10 months ago, and less than 1k on them, and once I had the 20" gtrs off, and back on the oem wheels, I've less than 40mm clearance below the front bumper. Rear looks grand, but I had to remove the 2 little vertical rubber strips that bolt onto the bottom of the front bumper, just in front of the front wheels, as prob less than 5mm clearance. No rust on the springs, yet it looks like the fronts have collapsed about 15mm too much! Will be new coilovers for me asap, and just do the job properly.
  6. Funnily enough, I was also worried about this, not just clearing the calipers, but the wider wheels will also be closer to the inner guards, on full lock. I decided to go for et22 on my new 9.5" jr18 front wheels, just to be sure.
  7. Hi. Since buying my 370z a month ago, I have only saw 1 other 370z on the road, so seem to be scarce enough, over here in N.I. Got talking to the fella for a quick minute, and he was also unaware of any other local owners, so here's hoping a few other local guys / ladies are on here, so we could possibly organise a coast run some weekend over the summer?
  8. Only seeing this post now, and I think my picture should confirm : 1. They do fit, 2. Tyres are a mental price, 3. No rubbing, but seem to make the car very bump steerery, 4. yes, I also think they look too big, especially when running with lowering springs, 5. I've just bought some funky concave staggered 19" bronze alloys, as the std 18s look lost, so a set of mint gtrs going up for sale ha.
  9. Damm. I'm 1 day too late! If anyone else selling a cargo net in good condition?
  10. I have managed to get new wheels and brakes, so original post updated with parts, I'm still looking for.
  11. As per title, I'm looking for some decent branded 370z coilovers. Thinking of something along the lines of 10-11 kg/mm fronts, 8-10 kg/mm rears. Done mind alittle rust on the springs, if priced accordingly. Definitely not interested in 9kg/ 7kg or tein street z setups. Thinking BC racing, HSD, type of thing, and need to have adjustable dampening. Open to other suggestions, as I'm setting up the car for occasional fast road / trackday use only. Must be willing to post, as I'm in N.Ireland. Cheers.
  12. Are these still available on a long shot? Cheers, Mike.
  13. Perfect. Sounds exactly what I'm after!
  14. Has anyone fitted the cylox short tails, by any chance? Only asking, as they look good value at sub £200, although not resonated, so curious if droney? I'm looking something slightly louder / deeper than standard, but definitely nothing droney. Thanks.
  15. Woo hoo. After abit of a false start, Ive finally got myself, a full s/h 2 owner 65k 2012 370z base spec. Doesn't have the clunky satnav (not an issue, as I'm going to fit my own satnav / andriod for obd output), all cloth seats (in mint condition, so no worries), 4 pot calipers, but what worried me, was I read base models don't have lsd diffs, but jacked up rear, and very definitely lsd goodness fitted. Came with 20" gtr charcoal alloys and new tyres, that cost previous owner over 2k, 900 miles ago), but not really warming to them, as I felt the car was chasing every fag butt, sweet paper on the road, on the way home, so will prob keep the oem 18s for the odd trackday malarky, and go looking for some nice dished 19s. Prepare for numerous stupid questions, as I get into the z groove!
  16. Well that was short and sweet! After 4 weeks of mad acceleration in dry weather and no roof, the wet day finally arrived, and I discovered I couldnt get into the westfield, when the roof was on...... So its off to its new owner, and I'm back to where I started (bar 1k richer! ), so back on the hunt for a 2012-13 manual.......
  17. Thanks folks. Unfortunately all 3x 370z I was offered for sale in N.Ireland, the owners changed their minds, and decided to keep, before I even got to view them. These 370z must be some car! However, rather than waiting until I'm allowed to possibly travel over to England in May, I decided to buy an extremely fit supercharged 20v westfield, as my new weekend toy. Once the summer is over, and I need a toy with a roof, I might start chasing a 370z again, but never say never.......
  18. Cheers Andy. That originally was the idea, but thinking better keeping 2k in the bank for the clutch / flywheel replacement, which no doubt, I'll get hit with, within a week of enjoying the new car ha.
  19. Hi folks. Thought it would be rude, not to join the forum, when after selling both tts, I've decided its time I got myself a 370z. Still going to keep the mx5 for trackday duties, but a road going 370z should make a nice fun weekend car! Have been wanting a 370z for quite a few years, and seems nows the time to get one, before the prices start climbing..............
