  2. Spotted each other the other day, saw your car parked up today driving past. Didn't realise you were local Are you on here?
  3. I notice better mpg driving on Shell than BP, especially on motorways too. Interested in trying Tesco though as Shells prices are going through the roof lately 128pl, I think tesco are around 118pl
  4. I didn't know you swapped colours Dave Was a coupe, pretty sure it was lowered, fancy wheels and some bright led lights. If it wasn't for the average cameras, I'd have sped up a little!
  5. Spotted you pull out of McDonald's on the Coventry Road, before taking the slip road onto the Swan Island. I was a car behind you in the right hand lane!
  6. If the cargo net sale falls through. Let me know please
  7. Photos look great @davey_83 Wish I'd have gone, can't see another Temper/Solar Orange there!
  8. Woohoo yes the bit on the way back was fun. Hope you could hear the little machine gun! Will try and add some photos later, or I'll send them across to you via messenger Dave!
  9. @davey_83 just incase you haven't seen the lower manifold. Unsure if it will fit yours though!
  10. Is the owner of the grey 350 who flashed me yesterday in Cradley on here? I was in the Orange one
  11. Going to hold out on spacers, until I decide if I'm getting aftermarket wheels and what size I'm going to go. Thanks though!
  12. Again, was meant to update this a while ago. Problem diagnosed by Horsham, which was a worn vtc solenoid which when fitted, light did not return. Can an admin lock this thread too please.
  13. Whoops, was meant to update this a while ago. Problem was sorted by an uprev at Horsham! Can an admin lock the thread please.
  14. Wanting them more so for induction more than anything, if there's a few (miniscule) bhp then I'll go for it. Are both the two systems fairly similar as there seems to be only 4bhp in it between both
  15. Hi, I have a 57 plate HR. I currently have the standard air boxes in with a K&N drop in panel filter in each. I'm currently looking at swapping them out for upgraded induction kits, I have my eye on the Stillen Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit and the Injen Dual Cold Air Intake Polished. Looking at both there is minimal bhp difference between them for the price. However my question is, does anyone have any experience with each of these or am I better off staying with my current set up? Any opinion is welcome! My current set up is K&N drop in panel filters, 3" Cobra NonRes with Y Pipe, soon to be added Sports Cats and adjusting of the map.
  16. Woohoo, pictures look great! Hope you had fun in your passenger experience too!
  17. Okay so today I changed my Variable Timing Control Solenoid on the left hand side. After I changed it over and refitted everything correctly, I got the car up to operating temperature by letting it sit running for around 20 minutes. I then reset the cel light, and held the revs between 1800-2000rpm for 20 seconds. Upon doing so it seemed fine, the revs started to go up and down by themselves inbetween 1800-2000rpm. So after 20 seconds, I then let it idle for a bit, and turned it off. Turned it back on and did the same, revs varied inbetween so thought this was normal, so after 20 seconds again, I left it running. Took it for a drive, and all was fine. However it has just developed a very low rev misfire/hesitation on a light throttle press. I took it out for a long run down the dual carriageway and down the motorway and it seems to be getting better. Is there anything I have missed or did I not do the reset procedure correctly? Hopefully, someone can help me
  18. Been keeping an eye on this thread, looks a decent turnout too! Thanks for adding me Dave. I'm excited for my first 350 meet!
  19. Hello, I brought my 350z in September last year and have had the engine warning light on since. I have done the peddle dance and reset it manually with a code reader. Before deleting the code I read it and it came with, (P0024/$10) B Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 2. When I read the code I went to Nissan and ordered 2 new Bank 2 sensors. (Looking at the engine bay, the ones on the right hand side) I then installed them, and reset the light. After driving for a while, the light came back on, so I re-plugged my code reader in and diagnosed the code. It came up with the same code. So since then I took out the new bank sensors, and put in the old ones as this wasn't the issue. When I brought the car, I was told it had a lightened flywheel fitted and that this was the cause of the problem for the engine management light showing. I asked on a 350z Facebook forum and got told that if it the light didn't go and stay away after changing the bank sensors, then that the flywheel would be the most likely case. As it would effect the timing by being incorrectly fitted? My problem is that the car seems to run absolutely fine, without sounding different or making any funny/knocking noises or any problems when pulling through the rev range. However when the car is warm it is very easy to stall. If I change my lightened flywheel to an original (Dual Mass Flywheel?) will this solve my issue in making 1. The EML light disappear for good and 2. The car being very easy to stall when warm. Has anyone else had a problem like this, or have any other ideas on how to solve this. Regards, James
