  1. Welcome to the forum buddy. I pretty much ghosted this forum until I got a 350, found LOTS of useful information on what to look out for when buying one. Good luck on the hunt for the Z! As Torqen said above, post some pics when you do find one!
  2. If I'm brave enough, I'll be rocking the Cosmis wheels too at some point! All about patience...and money, definitely money. Yeah, please do. I'm not 100% sure so don't take this as gospel, but you can do little updates on this thread, new wheels, front lips etc, but if you plan on doing a big overhaul of parts, then it'll need it's own section, but won't hurt putting them in their own thread categories anyway, new wheels in "Wheels" etc. Make sense?
  3. Welcome to the forum buddy, love the pearl white Z, great colour. Good to see I'm not the only one who's replicated their car on Forza
  4. Great choices of everything! The XT206R's are my dream wheels! Great mix of dish and concave. My brother would love you for having the Cosmis S1's as a choice, he's a huge fan of them. I personally prefer the XT206R, more aggressive looking. I think they will be my second wheels I buy though (eventually) when I'm brave enough to slam the thing on the ground haha. Practical good looking wheels first! Great choice on the wing too, not many cars can pull off that style but the Z sure can, similar to the Nismo wing just more in your face! I'm sure there are a couple of traders on here that can sort you out with the parts you need . Keep us updated with your progress!
  5. Hey mrt, I know you have got Tein lowering springs in your signature, but just to make sure, are they the S Tech springs? Looking at getting some 19" Grids soon, so if they look half as good as yours, I will be well happy!
  6. Hey Kingsley, With everything fitted, I do really believe it finishes the car off, although, I keep going backwards and forwards with the idea of a rear diffuser, not 100% decided yet. What style of spoiler would you be looking at? Ducktail like you have now or a different style? I have to admit, the black chrome will look pretty good on a night blue, me on the other hand, I'm most likely going in the other direction for colour haha. What style of wheel would you be after? There are plenty of different ones out there that luckily, don't require any arch work. Wasn't a big fan of the LED strips where the reflectors were as I thought they looked quite tacky but the more I see them, the more I like them....... Test fit looks pretty decent . How are you going to fit it. With screws or tape? Or if you're feeling crazy, maybe both? Thanks, Eroll
  7. Welcome to the forum buddy, got a Night Blue zed myself . What sort of modifications are you looking to do the car appearance wise? Get that lip on ASAP as it really completes the front end, I'd also recommend some side diffusers from Tarmac also as with the front lip and side steps, it completes the car in my opinion, gives it more of an aggressive look, (got both installed on mine). If you are thinking of changing the wheels, if you're like me, you'll spend a considerable amount of time of your life going backwards and forwards choosing between colours. I am finally set on one, but not going to say what colour it is because I won't want to sway you (or anyone for that matter) on whether you go for this colour or that colour.
  8. He's lucky to be alive! Hopefully they'll both learn a lesson from this, by all means have fun when driving/riding, but there is a time and a place for it
  9. Very expensive, cheaper to engine swap haha! Ah fair enough, good to know you are back in the Z game anyway! Ooooh yes, big fan of the S15, they are slowly creeping up in price too. Dream car will always be an R32 GTR Skyline but sadly unless I get a big pay rise at work, out of budget for me unfortunately. I'm a big advocate of the 1JZ engine, so possibly in a year or 2, looking at getting a Toyota Sourer or a Chaser
  10. That's true, the Z delivers a more linear response whereas turbo gives you a kick, would love to hear a turbo spooling 350 though, 2018 Christmas present? . You've driven both, 350 or 370? Is there much difference in the driving aspect?
  11. Enjoy it buddy, what do you prefer so far, turbo or NA?
  12. Welcome to the forum buddy! I was looking at s14's before I bought my Z, some were lovely to drive but the upkeep of the rust on certain examples would have been too much for me. Enjoy the Z life!
  13. Welcome to the forum buddy! Just don't bin it on the way home if the roads are quiet . Enjoy the Z life!
  14. Welcome to the forum buddy. You've joined one of the best OC there is
  15. Ah ok cool, well hopefully it'll go alright. Let us know!
  16. Could be that they are from the US, or that you have HID headlights as apposed to halogen. That's the only reason I can see though. Probably unable to help on this one I'm afraid, sorry bud.
  17. Ah bugger, not 100% sure if I'm honest, don't want to give false advice, did you order them from the US? The 6 pin may be the standard US connector whereas we have the 8. Someone with more knowledge on this will have to let you know. Maybe pop the question into another part of the forum so others see it.
  18. Should be a fun thing to do if all goes smoothly. Nice and simple in and out jobby
  19. Nice, they'll look good, gives it a different look also, can't wait to see the headlights once fitted!
  20. Looking good, post some pics once you have them swapped over . Did you have any luck on the rear lights too?
  21. Ah ok, yeah they are better looking them ones haha. I think they'd suit really well
  22. Personally prefer the tinted ones, not a bit fan of the clear ones if I'm honest, just think the dark will work on the blue Z that you have. All personal preference.
