  1. My original shafts have started clicking when pulling off so I'm going to take them off and re grease them. Will this grease be suitable? https://www.screwfix.com/p/multipurpose-grease-400ml/8436P?tc=WT7&ds_kid=92700023752918386&ds_rl=1241687&ds_rl=1245250&ds_rl=1243318&ds_rl=1247848&ds_rl=1245250&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3e_KuuPe4QIVS-R3Ch2N1AzdEAQYASABEgJdIvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Cheers in advance
  2. So I have been doing some reading on here and else where as I'm looking to fit an oil catch can. I was hoping to do both sides into one catch can by blank off the intake and plenum. I was going to basically copy this set up But with a mishimoto 3 port baffled can. Taking each side to a separate input. Then sending the output to a mini breather filter. After doing some reading I lost my head with vacuum leaks and issues with breather filters and the PCV side of the engine ect ect. Is the method in the link the correct way of doing it? Any advice would be great cheers
  3. that's all then no extra special drain procedure?
  4. Hi I need to do an oil and filter change. My zed is of higher mileage. Currently have 5w 30 in it and going to change to 5w 40. Do i need to do any think different from a regular oil change with there being a change in viscosity? Thanks
  5. are these still for sale and if so could you sell separately as i only need the passenger seat?
  6. I'm pretty sure you will need traction arms as well. Does the rear camber arm replace the spring bucket?
  7. I try to drift day my 350 once a month. I'm starting to think that it would be wise to invest in a oil cooler! Just looked at the mishimoto ones look straight forward enough to fit. Is there any point in paying for the thermostatic one? I let me car fully warm up before i even think about going over 3k. Has any body been tracking/ drifting their 350z for any amount of time without one? Cheers Martin
  8. And I'm glad she is, head of government can't become a victim to these fools. She is like the rest of them a puppet
  9. shoot to kill that's what a gun was invented for. They were all most probably be on the terror watch list just like the Manchester bomber. This stuff is going to become more and more frequent. The worst thing is us as the public aren't prepared for it as they are all random attacks. Its all good and well May the PM saying "we will not back down to terrorists ect etc" she is the 1st to get rushed off in a armored vehicle to some nuke proof safe house guarded by 30 guard's with MP5's and handguns for side arms and M15 on speed dial
  10. Thanks guy. i shall fit them when i buy a oem y pipe in a few weeks
  11. Hi I currently have a scorpion half system on the 350z the rest of the exhaust system is stock it was sound checked at 76db at my last drift day. I currently have a set of Japspeed unsilenced de cats knocking about in the shed. Does anybody on here run this set up or a similar set up? As i want to stick the de cats on but don't want to push it above the 105db mark as every drift day is doing sound checks now. Can any body tell me any db figures for their similar set ups or this set up? Cheers
  12. got one im my garage would rather pay and not **** it up my self
  13. Does any body know if the half shafts will only fit on one side ei drivers side shaft can't be fitted on the passenger side ect? I wouldn't mind have a spare one for drift days lol
  14. Anybody got any recommendations to descent arch rollers in the west midlands or midlands area? Thanks Martin

    Drift Matsuri

damn i need to get mine handling how i want it asap! looked like a top weekend i had my eye on the live insta's all weekend. Think i'm going to do the one in wales later on this year.
  16. I have ordered a set of solid rear subframe bushings to hopefully get rid of some wheel hop and tighten up any movement in the rear of the drive train. They are supplied with a set of shims to lower the subframe. This will change the roll center and anti squat. And that's as much as i know i have done a google search and haven't found any useful information. Does any body know how adjusting the cars roll center and anti squat would effect the cars handling? Or would i be better just fitting the bushings with out the shims? Cheers Martin
  17. jr12 18x10 et0 around or the et20 with 25mm spacers not sure is the et20 would affect the dish on the wheels
  18. my passenger window doesnt all ways work. So i open the passenger door and push and pull the window up and down while switching the passenger window switch up or down and it will start working again. its almost as if a sensor isnt picking it up. Then it will work for 4 or 5 uses of the switch then i need to do it again. i always lock the passenger window to stop some body from fully dropping the window and getting it stuck.
  19. Thanks for the info! Might make it a bit more tricky that there is already two switches in the room for the downlights, one switch at one door, one at the other. Everything is rewired recently with the new 17th Ed consumer unit and everything is earth bonded nah that's the 2 way switch. you need a switched live to that light from the switch that has the common live in it and that will sort it out. if its 17th then shouldn't be be too much of an issue. its the ceiling void that's the issus
  20. all depends on where you want to switch the light from. All you will have at the last light if the light in the alcove is the last down light (if its wired that way) would be a switched live, neutral and earth. If you wanted to switch it from the same switch location as your current switch but on separate switch to the other 11 down lights then you need to run a new switched live and earth from that switch to the light. This would mean running the cable up/ thur the wall into the ceiling void. Normally lifting the floor above and routing the cable to the down light. Or entering the roof space if a space above. If its a flat roof then its all down to which way the joints run and weather there are any cross members bracing the ceiling joists. generally if you cann't get into the ceiling void then it you need to stitch the ceiling and drill holes in each joist. For the cost of this sort of job people generally wont bother having it done. The sparkies will also want to know how old your consumer unit is, if your gas and water bonds are in 10mm earth and if you have rcd protection.
  21. Not to jump on the bang wagon i'm a year or so off louver, but where did you get them from if yo don't mind me asking?
  22. Have you done any think to the rear turrets to strengthen then running the tune coilover setup? The plan is to run adjustable arms so i get the whole rear tires to drift on.
  23. Hopefully this is in the right section. Fitting a pair of iner tie rods and lock spacers tomorrow. What have people done with the locking washer/ collar? I didn't bother putting it back on on my mk1 mx5. But think as the 350 is loads heavier might be wise to fit it some how. I read a write up on 350 tech but it wasn't very clear in regards to the locking washer. And also how much of the lock stop am I shaving off? As it sort of pointless fitting the spacers if I don't trim the stops down. Cheers Martin
  24. just dug a box out of the recycling bin you had me worried then Same part number PLFR5A-11 6240
  25. Thanks for the heads up. Just matched as close as possible how tight the old plugs where. Took the car out for a spin and it fires up fine and drives fine. I didn't over or under tighten the plugs. I noticed some think about turns on the box. But was so blind as I was looking for a torque figure. That torque sheet d95gas is perfect I will be printing that off and saving it to my phone and laptop. Nice one.
