  1. So it looks like these spacers are fine with a bit of camber at the front. I will get them when I put my Rays back on for winter
  2. Nice and the sound is awesome! Looks like you could use a bit of suspension tuning now to dial that oversteer out. What's your current setup?
  3. Aren't those spacers too big? I thought 22/25 was max for these wheels.
  4. I found one bottle (Gold) in a local shop but the guy says it's from August 2015! Probably not a good idea to buy it? Or will it be ok?
  5. Which SRF is it: the grey one or the yellow one (React)?
  6. It's not about heat resistance of the pad and its mu throughout the heat range. It's about which pad would generate more heat and potentially overheat the bloody Brembos with its small rotors! It's tricky to judge, because in theory the harder pad should absorb less heat (so should not heat the calipers up that much) but it has a higher mu, therefore can generate higher temps. So, which one? PS. I was told that the wet boiling points are more important than dry as even fresh fluid would have some moisture in it. True?
  7. I searched the net and actually this one came up as having the highest boiling temps: Torque RT700. Any experience with it? Also, I might just throw it in here as it's a related question: which pad (ds2500 or ds3000) would generate more heat and therefore boil the fluid quicker?
  8. It looks like I'm boiling the Motul fluid (tried both 600 and 660) and therefore losing brake pressure after the brakes get really hot. Any better alternatives which are less likely to boil or at least not as fast as Motul?! PS. I already have air brake ducts.
  9. That brake fade with ds2500 - do you mean a soft brake pedal after a few hard laps / sessions? I get that quite often now and I thought it was air in the system or a bad master cylinder. Braking power is ok but only from like half way down of the pedal travel unles I pump it up properly with my left foot before a turn. Everything is back to normal after a track day, pedal is stiff again. Is it becasue of those ds2500 pads?!
  10. Do you also sell rebuild kits?
  11. Nurb has become a very "nasty" place during weekends. Your write up sums it up perfectly! That's why I'm thinking about going there on a Monday this time (full day). There is one more left on 5th June! I will be attacking <8:30 this year. Check out my video from last year, @min. 8:26. If I hadn't checked my left mirror, I would have probably moved to the left and that Nurburgring hero in his Z3 would've crashed into me!
  12. I know, I've learnt that lesson last year! In those few corners you just need to stay away from the normal line as the rubber on the road gets really slippery in the wet!
  13. ^ dude, decats wouldn't compliment the LTH because LTH replace cats! What car do you drive? lol 343Hp is a great result but it depends on the starting point which depends on a dyno. My local dyno usually shows 293Hp for a healthy stock HR and a +10 Hp / + 10 Nm gain with decats.
  14. Looks like it's 23Hp over only decats and remapping if I am not mistaken - based on what Butcher wrote. Not saying it's a small gain past the LTH with all these mods ... we all now that it's not easy and not cheap to gain lots of HP with a NA build.
  15. @ WillisRR No, no, no, no mate! Post a video of a full lap! What was you best BTG time?
  16. So it's a 50hp gain compared to stock?! Nice. LTH probably gave the biggest gain - up to 30hp. Which mod would you say gave the next biggest gain?
  17. Can't really make out the difference in loudness from this recording. It does sound like the mods made the tone deeper and clearer. I thought it would sound like a beast with LTH, cams and a test pipe!
  18. 5w50 is ideal for a healthy engine in the Zed - Mobil is ok. 10w60 is also good for a dedicated track car - Millers or Luqui Moly. Stay away from Castrol!
  19. Nice! Can't wait to see and hear it run now with all these mods!
  20. I think I'll just give up spending hours and hours on the internet trying to figure out what to do next and how to do it and I'll just follow everything you do. Seriously! Just out of curiosity, do you have any background in car mechanics or is it just your hobby?
  21. I know your mileage is relatively low but looking at the timing gear while having it open, what parts do you think would be worth replacing at 100k miles when doing the gallery gaskets?
  22. Yeah but I've already decided to do cams too - probably Tomei 272 / 10,8. I want to do cams and the oil pump gears while replacing the gallery gaskets.
  23. Oh yeah, I was right thinking it was the Boundary gears. I will probably replace them too when fixing the gallery gaskets after seeing this: https://scontent-ams...af5&oe=595DD12A https://www.facebook...490815252516241
