Hi Alex Cheers for that, the crunching sometimes happens in the uk as well with normal driving speeds, however a fluid change might be easier than the csc so i'll maybe try that first!

Hi guys So i've recently returned from a european road trip and spent some time on the autobahn. I've noticed recently that my car occassionally crunches going into 6th gear. This problem became very apparent on the autobahn above about 120mph when the car didn't seem to want to go into 6th at all. Does this sound like my syncro has gone at all? Never experienced this before. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for that. I only noticed the oil get up to 120 degrees once and the car doesn't do track time. I'm wondering if just for a normal rally type drive it might be alright because I will always be doing long distance to cool the engine down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can anyone who has driven the car through europe and hotter countries advise me whether I should invest in a mishimoto oil cooler or not? I have an 09 370 and the oil on warm days does get quite warm when i'm driving enthusiastically. I will participating in a european rally in june so would be grateful for any advice. It's not spinning, whenever the back wheels drive over them the cars back end slides slightly left or slightly right. I just wondered if anyone else had noticed it happen to them before Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeahh I have done, it's been in for alignment twice, first time was standard settings, second we tweaked the toe on the back wheels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The handling itself is fine, I may add some more camber at some point. However the main problem is the fact the back wheels slide to the side when going over wet drain covers. Just wondered if anyone else has had this before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi guys Just been reading through some of the alignment threads on here unfortunately couldn't find the answers i'm looking for. I have recently had a rear control arm on my car changed and since that have noticed the car acting strange. In wet conditions on drain covers and occassionally on bumps in the road, the cars rear end tends to slide left or right depending on which side hits the drain cover/bump. I have had my geometry checked twice and adjusted the rear toe both times. This has improved it alot, however it still sometimes slides slightly in the wet over drain covers. Just wondered if anyone had any geometry figures on their own cars, or if they've noticed this at all. I have the back wheels toed slightly out, but maybe I need more? Any advice welcome.
