Anyone going to this run need 2x 370 intake boxes, come with the front extensions etc
Let me know and ill bring them with, otherwise going in the tip saturday
-
Fingers crossed I shall be joining you Sunday.
Looking forward to a chilled cruise on those roads. We made the mistake of joining a Rampage Rally recently, over the Snake Pass, not 20 minutes in and a balloon in a focus RS went off at 80+ by all accounts missed a propane tank by mere feet, wrote off the home owners car, Garage, Wall, Trees and his own RS. Luck would have it, him and his wife walked away with minor injuries.
Lets hope this decent weather holds out for some good photo opportunities

I would keep hold of the oem cats just in case the hfc's fail for any reason 😁
Nah
I'll just buy more HFC's if they do. That £700 will pay for the remap
-
I've been offered £700 scrap just for the cats off mine, just need to get the HFC's fitted now

Nice one. ill give him a holla soon
Ive not gone to great lengths as such, I was doing it the hard way to be honest. Buying counter sunk M6 and Dome top M8 bolts in Stainless from Pro-Bolt, counter sunk washers in Red from Exo-sport. For things like Expansion tank cover, head lights, cam sensors, power steering tank. Im actually thinking of re-planning and replacing a lot of them, the anodised 'Red' is a little pink for my taste
But the likes of Torqen do kits in a variety of colours (just didn't have red when I was doing mine) As yours is blue, there is a kit that matches yours quite well, certainly a good starting point for the swap out.
Feel free to DM me anytime can send you links to bits ive used

Can only think the current climate with stupid energy and fuel prices are having a negative effect. Hate to see them sell so cheap, devalues the cars.

Im not sure if it was a placebo effect, but I found it felt sharper and better grip all round. Less tramlining too ?
When I removed the 15s from the rear and only had them on the front it was really tail happy due to the narrower track, the 5s fixed that.
For note:
Previous set up: Rear 285x40x19 with 15mm Spacer - Front 245x45x19 15mm Spacer
Current set up: Rear 305x30x19 5mm Spacer (some edge rubbing under compression) - Front 265x40x19 15mm Spacer
Previous set up was on the factory tyres.
Current set up, the grip is superb. You really have to send it if you want to break loose. Running on MP4S
Image to show current set up arch filling etc
Edit: Should add, I have a set of 15s was going to keep hold of the in case I went back to narrower tyres, that probably wont happen. So if you want them can do £45 posted, as long as its not Washington USA

I have 15mm spacers on the front of mine, from Tarmac sportz, work perfectly fine.
Full selection: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/wheels-tyres/spacers/?find=nissan-370z-all-variants-7577&sid=jeXkyz9ZZS
Had them all round but went with wider tyres so had to remove them on the rear and drop to a 5mm. you are fine upto 20mm all round on standard wheels and tyre sizes, 25mm and you will get rubbing on the arch trim.

You car your choice mate. Some would say a grand on rims or an exhaust is a waste of money. Imho brakes and tyres are your life and therefore if you can justify spending money on any part of your car it’s these two things ahead of anything else. Talking of fences I painted mine today.😂
Talking of fences, tyres are the main thing that can stop you going through one
Im with you, money on tyres before anything else. But any good brand be it Falken, Michelin, Continental will all do the job, just dont risk the cheapo melted canoe crap and you will be fine

Any chance of getting a high res copy of the 2 of Zara ?
Happy to pay if needed

We wasted about £15 of petrol at the Torqen meet so the wife could cool off in the car, totally worth it

Just a holder or magnetic holder...Yep no need to rip console out. Apple car play android is a bit of an effort so is the braniac. Apparently the apple car play like for like replacement is slightly easier and leaves it looking oem. But yeah with the new rules regarding pads and phones a bit of a hairy area.
Yeah ive seen the mag mounts, just not sure I want to be trying pick an Ipad up every time I boot it down a B road...
Ive seen the mod where the entire waterfall is chopped up and the Pad goes in, its a bit OTT for me to do that. Im pinning all hopes on the Android app having the same features as Ant's.
As long as I can swap maps, and see the temps etc, i'll be happy

Thanks for organising had a great time
Was good to meet you bud, tried to catch up with you before we left but couldn't see you around. Was a tad warm, more so for us Northerners

You should be able to pick up an O ring from a Halfords or plumbing place should be loads on the shelf at both.
On the subject, a guy I know does work for an Audi dealer, one O ring was £145 from Audi, it HAD to be used for warranty purposes, the identical ring from a regular supplier..... 49p

For the Ecutek map? You going to get the IPAD etc? or too much?!
Think the App works on Android now so will pop it on my phone. I have an Ipad but its a little too big to mount without major dash mods, dont really want to do that.
But yeah thats the EcuTek map with all features apparently.
Grabbed the HFC's today so once they are on i'll decided on the silver bullets. Then map time
