  1. hey guys in need of some advice, basically i was removing my front calipers to repaint them an who ever fitted them has cross threaded the bolts inside an completley stripped the threads, what are my options if i can get them re threaded or is it just a case of new ones?
  2. so if you match 40's on the front to 40's on the rear it should be ok? my current setup is 235 40 19 an 275 40 19 on the rears but currently not fitted yet. was thinking the same thing if it will throw the traction control out

    as above please!
  4. i personally would just run a DA sander with a 240 grit paper over it to smooth it then a 500 over the top to get rid of the prep marks, then mask just the center an tyre out an re do the lip
  5. depends how bad the curb rash is. you can get away using chemical metal on them an sand it down with a 240 grade an go over with a 500 to flow the repair out, i repair wheels for a living using filler is fine, using it on the inside of the wheel isnt, thats where cracks appear from tyre pressure.
  6. thanks jon, how easy are the bolts to get too?
  7. after the metal part of the rear mud guard for the drivers side as mine has rotten to hell. or if anyone can link me where i can get a new part that would be awesome!
  8. also what are peoples thoughts on conti's?
  9. ive had them before never had a problem with them on road once i got abit of heat in them, i found out the mediocre way on track they just turned to goo.. but then again there not a track Tyre! ill have a look on price comparison on them, i cant afford mpss straight away so if these are feasible what can you compare them too?
  10. thanks for the input guys! think im going to go down the P-zero or mpss route! anyone got any links to a good site besides camskill?
  11. just having a look on camskill at tyres, what are peoples views on the nankang ns2.0? i had them on my track civic an loved them compared to the ad08 i had but im not sure if there going to be acceptable on the road in terms as the oe tyre is a pirelli
  12. i think once ive got them on ill go for a geometry allignment an get it setup again but as my car doesn't have camber adjusters its got quite alot of natural camber through lowering on coilovers so i think ill get more feedback from it
  13. nope genuine rays from nengun themselves! d1 spec wise yeah can belive that but thats why now i use only steel nuts.
  14. muteki are by far the best out there an so under rated, ive had rays/ project Mu/ d1 spec nuts all bend because there ally, these are steel an they just take everything that goes at them
  15. well i seen a fellow zed owner's setup an he said he had to roll an pull the arch.. sod that, well ive ordered my wheels, rears are 19x10.5 et 30 so it allows me to have some play with spacing ect, front are 19x9.5 et23 which i think will be bang on. what tyre sizes are suggested?
  16. Hi guys hope you're all well! ive been offered some ssr wheels which im really tempted to buy but i need to know if i need to roll the arches or will the fit with no issues, the sizes are :- fronts are 18x9.5 ET +37 rears are 18x10 ET +11 thanks in advance. Andy
