Hello and . i'm in Germany also and have only come across two 350z's and one 370Z, i must be in the wrong area.

Hi Ewen, Are the road tax rules the same as the 350z ( increasing dramatically from 2006 up) and is the satnav as bad as the 350's system. i see nobody's changed the clocks to MPH, thought that might have helped selling . thanks

Been looking on the web but having difficulty finding a comparison between the two. I do like my Zed but not quite entirely happy, so are there subtle differences, like, driving position, gear ratios, storage size. I would presume 90% of the 350gt's are imports and autos. As the motors are basically the same i guess the usual upgrades we do to our 350's can be done to the Skyline. Any advice would be appreciated

Walking away is good. (1) There is no circlip. (2) There is no hydraulic tappet. My bad, wrong terminology, i meant to say Lifters.

on my travels when looking for my first Zed i had a viewing of an 05 350z which had what sounded like old fashioned bad tappet noise, the owner explained it was a clrclip that had popped out from the top of the hydrolic tappet which was common with 350's.and wasn't that serious, So i walked away. anyway, don't know how true this is or not..

Maybe i'm just old school, Listen through an extra long screwdriver, and narrow the search area down, you should also be able to tell if the noise is knocking metalic

At the end of the day we want to fill the wheel arch with rubber whether the car is lowered or bigger wheels, with standard wheels i can feel the undertray just rubbing on the stupid speed humps and with the bigger wheels its no problem

Ok, so i know a lot of you aren't keen on bad boy big wheels but i'm not keen on Speed Humps and road kill 275 / 35 / 20 and 245 / 35 / 20 (15mm spacers on the front)

I've just put my OEM Cats back on for this very reason, Don't tell me i've wasted my Time . Exhaust Sound . Smoothness. and lower back. Gutted.

Just got my wheels back from the shop, 15mm spacers on the front to miss the Brembo's Machined and Gunmetal Spokes.

Postponing the sale of my Zed as i'm taking her to Germany for a little while, So time for an oil and filter change, a quick over all check and then hit the Autobahns.
