  1. That's just brilliant, what a great way to use that space.
  2. I'll get some photos up soon, those are those from the online ad, the guy who sold it to me had a stupid Nismo sticker on the back, he wasn't five minutes gone and that was off lol
  3. Hi There Where would you go about purchasing rear inserts, tried searching but found nothing. What exhaust and tail pipe design are you running? Stock for now, trying to weigh up my option if I get something louder.

  5. Over here in Austria they are pretty paranoid whether or not a car has had all of its service history done at the dealership and has the corresponding dealer stamps. Yes, as somebody earlier mentioned, if its under guarantee then quite, let them do it but thereafter what's the point if you know what you are doing and can back up your work with receipts and a log etc. I recently sold my XK Jag which till I owned it was always serviced by jaguar, then I started doing it myself, so when I went to sell it I had four people come to look at it and each an everyone wanted to see the service history stamps, which the last two were missing. I showed them receipts and logged what I had done in a separate booklet, none of them were impressed as its so unusual over here. I eventually told the last guy who came to view it that I had worked as a mechanic for 3000 HP Swiss Funny car drag racing team and offered him as a reference, still he claimed that a Jaguar is something completely different. Anyway he bought it in the end, even with his wife moaning that the kids won't fit in the back… good luck with that. So all that being said, my Z has just gone past the 3 year warranty this July and I've decided I will get one more service done at Nissan being as the 60K km is due and thereafter if I decide to keep it till the next is due, then I'll do i t myself again.
  6. That would be great thanks as said only a jack Russell so won't be a problem does as he's told in the civic anyway I don't see any problem being as he's well behaved too and is half the size of mine. I'm gonna take a look at the great mod "Flyboy" kindly explained later tonight and see if it will be deep enough for my dog transporter, would be better in case of an accident especially with a smaller dog like yours.
  7. Thank you… might save some further embarrassment
  8. Hmmm looks very practical and thanks so much for sharing When you say the shelf towards the cockpit, you meant the step looking shelf I presume? How did you achieve this?
  9. My Vizsla (Hungarian Pointer) is well trained and will lie right down and has plenty of space for short trips up to 2 hours or so. He belongs to a breed which lose hardly any hair and very well mannered. Yes he pokes his nose on the rear window and smears it somewhat but thats all cleanable… he gets lifted in so no fear of scratching the paint. I wouldn't try this if you haven't got a well trained dog, which settles on command as the last thing you need is a dog chewing on things or being unsettled in the back of any car. I'll try and make a photo soon, next time we go out with him in the back and post it here.
  10. Yes I'm loving the GT Edition and the pearl white is just amazing in the sunshine
  11. What was wrong with the Shelby, apart from horrific petrol consumption? Quality issues, solid rear axel, straight line performance only, (back seat was a luxury … I mean I shouldn't moan as at the time I loved the car but looking back I like my 370Z so much more. As for the 2007 XK Jag… the car isn't all that, that its made out to be and for a car that costs 100k new it was just not worth that much.
  12. As a new owner too I enjoyed your write up immensely, alas my GT Edition didn't come with SatNav or reverse camera but apart from that I can basically agree with you on every point you made. I had an XK Jag before this and a 2007 Shelby GT500 before that and you know what, I'm enjoying this ride so much more.
  13. Mine says 98 on the tank lid… why would the Austrian version be different from the UK?
  14. I just bought one this weekend and yes Its pretty difficult trying to identify the GT Edition as t could easily be cloned, you'd think it would have a plaque or found somewhere in the VIN code etc. the wheels were correct, it had he stripes and bose sound system etc. but in the end I found what I was looking for in the service manual, the first few pages are printed out at the dealership and on the second page i found the description and proof I was looking for "GT Edition". Hope this helps.
  15. Greetings all, just joined today after buying my first 370Z, have always been a US car guy, Mustangs, GM etc. my last car was a 2007 XK Jag but it just wasn't mine so I thought I'd try something completely different. So far so good
