  1. Not according to the website - http://www.scorpionexhaust.co.uk/scorpion-exhausts-nissan-350z-03-04-05-06-07-08-680-c.asp No idea on other options though sorry.
  2. Some cracking driving roads in your neck of the woods I would have thought!
  3. That's a wing A spoiler only has air flowing over the top surface as the bottom surface is bonded to the car.
  4. Nice car although I'm not keen on big wings. The R8 tribute strip is interesting.
  5. PIAA are supposed to be amazing but £25 a blade
  6. I've been looking since I decided to get a Z and haven't seen any in my local area. I see a shed load of Z4's though which is one of the things that put me off them in the end.
  7. I think it's more important to have an active and friendly forum than have a million members. So far, the welcome on here has been great and I can already see that members look after each other. Looking forward to getting a Z even more now!
  8. Not possible as far as I'm aware sorry. Nissan may be able to source one but they'll make you pay. Probably easier to get a second hand unit with remote or fit an upgrade.
  9. Everything I've read suggests that the banana arm can appear to show no play to the naked eye but still be shot. It's pretty much impossible to replicate the force created by 1.5 tonnes of metal crashing over a bump. If the noise is the same side as the old banana arm, my guess would be it's that. This thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62289-problem-solvedmystery-remains-banana-arm/ pretty much says the same thing.
  10. Have you tracked the cold exhaust side back? That should give you the bank that's not firing properly which will at least narrow it down to one half of the engine. If you're sure it's weak/intermittent spark it could be coils but that should throw up a code I'd have thought. It could be injectors too which would fit with you having to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running.
  11. We should do what Australia do and have no compulsory insurance. If you crash and you're not insured, the government will pay the other party for the damage and come after you for the costs! You really don't want to go against the government in court, that's never going to be a fair fight 😳 The upshot is that people don't have to be insured so the insurance companies have to offer reasonable premiums, which ultimately means that more people end up insured because it's affordable.
  12. Absolutely stunning car! I've just read through the whole thread and what you've achieved in the time you've had is amazing. I'm sure you hated it at times but wow, what a reward!
  13. Nice write up. I'm glad that the styling of the Mustang is back on track. They nearly ruined that car for me in the 90's! I just pretend that era doesn't exist!
  14. Thanks for trying but it's not a big enough discount for me to bite sorry.
  15. Thanks again for the welcome! I hope in time to add some useful contributions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'd be interested in a group buy if it happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've found that Gtechniq P1 polish does a good job of removing swirls (which to my understanding are the main cause of dull paint) when used by hand. It won't remove heavier scratches by hand though. I've never tried it with a machine but I'd imagine it would be even more effective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I've just had a look at a few posts and it looks like a nice example. Let me know when you put it up although I'm keeping an eye on the 'for sale' section anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Don't think it's the Revup or HR that makes the difference it's when it was first registered ie from March 06 as I'm assured mine is a DE and it's £505 tax coz it's apr 06 so there are 06 DE's and they go very nearly as quickly as a Revup or HR so it really depends on all the other things you want in it 😇 mileage condition etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks for the advice. It's put my mind somewhat at ease. I don't mind it using some oil as long as it's healthy and have no problem topping it up when needed. The tax isn't really an issue, an extra £200 a year isn't make or break for me. The reason I'm going for the revup isn't the extra power (it'll be more than quick enough for me whatever engine), it's mainly for the interior and other upgrades that came with it.
