Thanks for everyones respones really appreciate it as i am pretty bumbed out about this as you can imagine! you have all reasured me that it carnt be just standard wear . Just need to decide which nissan dealership to go to know . I have done no more than 5 standing launches since new . no track days yes its been driven in a few traffic jams but most miles are on free roads and i dont ride the cluch or atleast i dont think i do haha so their must be some sort of problem

Yes they are terribly they tried delivering my car two weeks late then when it arrive it never had the exstras fitted i orderd and had to wait 7 weeks for door sills and car matts to arrive haha. Any recomendations to a better nissan dealer to take it to ?

They said the only way they can do a warrenty job is if the clutch wear is out of the ordinary ie caused by a damaged flywheel or something like that . even though its worne fast if the wear is even then its my fault and i would then be charged for the investigation and the gear box strip and refit . So they have me over a barrel lol

Thanks man i got your message of the extreme clutches you supply this would be my last resort ie if nissan fail to do anything il have to go this route and id be getting horsham developments to fit . Thanks

No i havent contacted head office but i definatly will be . West Way nissan in Aldershot where i purchased the car from have been absolutly shocking from the start but i wont go on a rant haha. Just after some advice as in who i shold be speaking to and whever this is normal . And no history of ever killing a clutch haha but then i have never ownd a car as powerful last car was an 2.0 diesel scirocco

I am playing with the idea of a uprated cluch and flywheel idea but if i can get it done underwarrenty for free id rather do that for now anyways . The car hasnt seen the track but i do give her a few good runns out a month didnt think it would kill the clutch in such a short time after all the car should be built for alittle more abuse then a bit of spirited road driving . Just abit gutted ....

So basically my car 370z nismo has just coverd 6500miles and the clutch has started to slip when under full load gets worse when the car heats up . Also the biting point is higher to what it was. I took it to the dealer as its only a few months old and they have told me its wear and tear and they wont coveer it under warrenty unless they can prove its something else but to do this they want me to put down £370 for them to strip the gear box and do a inspection . I do drive the car hard but should the cluch have gon already ? Thanks

Haha yeah thats me but theirs 3 house down that drive just me and my other half im a northener haha rest of the family all live in north Yorkshire. I just live down here for work just over a year now

Id say this ^^^^^^ is your best bet for performance whilst keeping the sound down . Im running invidia cbe with berk hfc and its still pretty loud but i love it haha

Just sharing for any one thats interested. I recently upgraded the exhaust system on my 15 plate nismo . I ended up going for the invidia cbe recomended by torqen with berk hfc to free up abit of power . I had it all installed and upreved by Horsham developments who where fantastic by the way. I already had befor the uprev some k&n drop inns and hps post maf tubes .These are the only upgrades the car has. We put it on the dyno with everything fitted and it ran a base of 324bhp (not whp) after jez did some playing around with the fueling we managed to get 355.8bhp and 296whp out of her which doesnt seem huge gains upon the factory stated 344bhp ? First impression on driving the throttle felt way more responsive and the engine seems to pick up power alot faster and smoother so regards to the dyno reading it feels way faster . The sound of the cbe with the hfc sounds amazing it is pretty loud and loud on cold starts but thats how i like it ,from around 3000rpm up the noise kicks in and starts to scream around 4500rpm up . The down shifts sound amazing alot louder than befor . The only down side to the noise is that there is a drone on the motorways but im happy to live with it. Another down side was the size of the invidia tips they looked lost. So i orderd from aam their 5" burnt ti tips then got a local exhaust place to weld them on these looked amazing . Big thanks to Torqen for supplying all the parts and to Horsham developments for getting it all fitted and tuned.

Used a oil filter removal tool which is like a thick rubber ban on a handle you loop this around the knob it grips it then turn it anti clock wise .It was on very very stiff and did take a mate to sturdy the knob whilst i unturned it with the tool .

Orderd from Torquen. My new Blox Racing neo chrome shifter. I was a little skeptical at first as to whever id feel a difference but im happy to say this feels much smoother than standard whilst shifting . I did have to purchase a vms gear boot collar to tidy it all up alsoI did have to drill the hole and re thread it out since the one i liked was for a honda.

Take it you can supply what i need would it be worth going to a light weight fly wheel at the same time ? Any benifits? Thanks
