Thinking about it. When i tidied my shed i found a tin of waxoyl underseal. Ill brush some of that over it. Its brilliant stuff. Unlike underseals that harden overtime and peel then trapping moisture. This stuff remains oily

I always clean the hidden area above the lip and when dry spray a bit of wd40 or the like to put a protective film over it

Im contemplating selling mine to get a 370z. Mine is a 313GT HR in black 58 reg manual with black leather. Sat nav heated seats etc etc. its only done 9'500 miles .. Totally standard unmodded. Not sure if the 370 is a much better car though

I agree with superstu. Fit a hr model bonnet. They look great plus are the most recent and shouldnt affect your premium as its not really a modification unlike bigger wheels. Brakes. Engine tune . Exhaust etc. its just appearance.

I know its probably best not to escalate bad feelings with neighbours but if it was my car then i would be absolutely fuming . Ive worked and paid for it and its not parked illegaly What right does he have. None what so ever. Karma may happen but for me that isnt enough. He either pays for the damage or he pays another way. If he gets away with it he is sure to do it again to someone else and not nescessarily a neighbour.

Im sure any bodyshop could do an easy repair on that but without filling the whole thing. Probably weld it and grind and then a skim of filler. Im in the south east and theres a brilliant bodyshop near me but probably too far for you as im 5 minutes from gatwick

The battery may be charged but may not have the full power to turn the engine over. If i were you i would borrow some jump leads and see if it starts from another vehicle. When you say bump start you did mean by pushing it ?

If the clicking is coming from the starter motor then it may be jammed in the flywheel. Two things you can do. Firstly put car in gear and rock it ( push ). Secondly while someone is trying to start it give the starter a knock which usually frees it
