  1. When the sensor packs up the guage needle moves whilst the keys are in accessory position and engine not running. Had this with mine. Needle would go straight to 120 and i hadnt started the engine. New sensor fitted and all is good now

  2. Car looks great and seems a very good price for hr model. They look best in black but then thats my choice. I bought a 58 reg hr in black just over a year ago with 8'600 miles only on the clock but i did pay £13'500 for it .. Good luck with the search and i hope you get a chance to look at the one you posted details on. I look forward to seeing the results

  3. Lovely looking car looks great in black Its exactly the same as mine. HR313gt in black As for clutch noise , as you know by now it is normal for these. Just to add mine has just passed 10'000 miles and it chatters like crazy in neutral even with such a low mileage Also i did read a post somewhere about the 350z being thrashed and abused in the making of the fast and furious films and apparently the drivers of these cars reported that the 350z was pretty much impossible to break because the engine and gearbox were so strong

. Anyway congrats with your new car

  4. If i caught someone meddling with my car or house ' i think i would totally lose it and end up severely harming them

It makes my blood boil that these low lifes help themselves to property that belongs to hard working people causing damage in the process mainly to fund an addiction to drugs . They probably dont work so we are paying for them already out of our taxes so in theory they are robbing us twice over.. My neighbour is a police woman and i told her my feelings about the feeble justice given and that my own would be much more satisfying. She said i would be the one in trouble if i did. I said it would be his word against mine and if they can lie there way out then i can do the same

  5. Hi viad. It should be a side entry. I havent read all the above posts so appologies if someone has already mentioned that if you hold the float arm and simply move it up and down repeatedly a few times this can also solve it But best to fit new. They are a simple fix. Good luck

  6. My car has only done 10'000 miles. O8 hr. It is due for a service but dont really want it to go to a nissan outlet. My previous visit to them was due to oil pressure guage reading too high. I knew it would be the sender switch because of all the helpful posts on this site. Also i did mention this to the guys on the service desk. It had to be fitted by nissan as it was under warranty. However when i took it along to them they did a vehicle check and said no info on fault reader shown. They wanted to take the dashboard apart etc to remove the guage and would need it for the day. I didnt like the idea of that so i bought the sender unit and fitted it and problem solved. Since then no way will i use a nissan main dealership Will probably try zed shed if not too far from me
