  1. To save you a long journey 'I would get the registration number and then phone nissan. They will identify engine code from reg which will reveal if its HR or not

.. If it is a 313GT hr then great. Youll love it. Its what i have. Good luck

  2. I love old vans and especially one like yours. Classic vans are great as when they were made they were obviously built as work horses and to see one that has survived the test of time is brilliant. Older vans also have so much character about them. Lovely

PS. The Z looks great too ( forgot i was on Z forum for a sec ) !!!! Ooops

  3. Personally i wouldnt use kurust. Its the film it leaves that goes black. Not the rust. It creates a protective airtight seal thats all. Waxoyl underbody seal is good as it doesnt dry out and peel. . And as stated before hammerite is useless. It chips off and flakes and doesnt stop rust at all. Also the runny waxoyl is the clear one that is usually injected into cavities but to do this you usually need to heat it to make it thin enough. The proper waxoyl underbody seal doesnt run badly at all

  4. Hi and welcome. Where abouts in east sussex are you. Im on the border near gatwick. Ive a black HR model. Very pleased with it and black looks great. From what ive read on here the HR has better interior than previous though i havent seen the interior of earlier models myself. HR has led lights and cubby hole is replaced by satnav. Twin air intakes and so on ,, good luck with your search

  5. My name is mike .. For many years all my friends and customers have always called me miguel or migs or migaeli Im as british as they come but somehow even being a 50 year old git i have dark hair and people think im italian or spanish .. in summer i work outside a lot and do get a bit of a nice tan.

Therefore my Z has the registration number MI6 WEL and my van is MI6 SXX

  6. I have just been into crawley town centre and witnessed a homeless woman with her dog being removed by the police. This took a police van for the dog and 5 police cars all of which were estates . At first i thought something big was happening like the scene from heat ( robert deniro & al pacino ) where the bank raid happens. But none the less a woman and her dog ,,,,,..?..

  7. Its awful the way they have treated you. I can understand you still being very fond of the car and still wanting to keep it though as i have experienced similar myself a while back. The way they have treated you though is so rude that if it was me i wouldnt really want them to do any repairs as they probably wouldnt be bothered to do it that well .. Maybe im an easy soft touch but i would be happier to pay and know a decent person has sorted the repairs to a high standard. The garage you bought from will lose out in the long run as you wont buy anything else and people you know name and shame them. I would go to the extreme of going to there sales forecourt and tell potential customers how you have been treated by them

  8. If its the outer tie rod ends then thats not so bad. Theyre normally a quick fix but get tracking checked afterwards. I know some people count the amount of turns taking off and repeat number of turns putting new one on but past experience i would have tracking checked

  9. I knew nothing about the 350z's when i bought mine. All i knew was i liked the style and that they are quite rare to be seen. So when i spotted a black one for sale on the internet i knew i had to see it and ended up buying it. 8500 miles only , sat nav , and yes HR i didnt realise what it was at the time but with many thanks to this forum i have learnt a lot about them now
