  1. I still have the original std exhaust fitted on my 350. I was parking outside a pub the other day and there was a guy standing outside pint in one hand and fag in the other. He wandered over to me and said "" WHAT IS IT ' WHHAT ISS EEEEET "" IT SOUNDS GORGEOUS !!!!!

  2. I think a low mileage HR might be the best bet for the depreciation gamble. They are far more limited in numbers compared to the DE and have some nice refinements to the engine and cabin. That said it will depend how many miles you'll be putting on it. I'm not expecting my HR to hold value given the large chunk of miles it will get every year. But then I got my zed to drive and I'll get my moneys worth from the number of years I'll stay with this car.

I bought my 2008 hr last year with 8'500 miles on the clock. Paid £13'500 for it but it was £30'000 new so less than half price for a car thats pretty much like new

  3. My 2008 350z hr turned 10'000 miles at the weekend. Now into 5 digits !!!!

    Wow that is low !!

ive had it a year now and it had done 8'400 miles .. i havent used it much as im in my van most days

Snap ..... And when it rains I steel my wife's car !!

Ha ha. I can totally understand that

  4. I can relate to this. I had a similar experience years ago. My dream was that i had totally written off the front end of my ford capri but had managed to get it home and into its usual parking space and in my dream i went to bed really fed up and peed off with myself as my car was everything to me back then ( i still lived with parents ). Anyway the following morning i woke up and looked out of my bedroom window to look at the sorry state of my capri BUT IT WAS IMMACULATE !!!! but it all seemed so real . I was so relieved but also puzzled as to why i dreamt it and more so as to why in my dream i had gone to bed ,,, WEIRD

  5. Lots of mixed thoughts posted about this. My thought though is that the amuse doesnt seem to blend in with the swooping curves of the rest of the car as stated by jetpilot. Its too square and awkward looking. How ever a westminster chime clock would sit on it rather well with a vase either side !! The luck one would be my choice out of the two. Looks much more refined and suited to the car. But everyone sees something different with things so i would go with what your happiest with

  6. Alright lads. Got her home there on the boat tonight no problem. One of the fellas working the boat deck was mesmerized by it, took me 20 minutes getting from the deck to the lounge! Ran perfect the whole 4 hour drive back. Enjoyed every mile. Many thanks to Ben aka rancer for meeting me at the airport and for the smooth professional sale. You are a true gent sir. Best of luck with the new motor! Post some pics up of it when you get it all sorted.

Time to pull my head out of the 'for sale' section, and get involved elsewhere on this forum. Have to say I've been very impressed by how welcoming this forum is. Some good lads on here which is something of a rarity online these days. :)

Im really pleased you have got the car you wanted. I remember seeing your original post stating you wanted black or blue. Ive a black z also. Love it in that. Looks like you have a gem of a z there. Brilliant. Well done

Everyone knows black is clearly the best looking, and fastest colour mate ;) Also remember ages ago reading about a guy with a black lambo dressing up as batman and visiting kids in a hospital or something. Always thought that was an awesome way to use a passion for cars in a positive way. Plus batman would clearly drive a zed over a lambo...

Yep i agree that black is the best colour for the z. I have seen the batman guy I think it was on you tube where he gets stopped by the police and he has the outfit on. Yesterday was a year to the day i bought my z. Really pleased with it still and love the black stealth look

Guess that means we have the same anniversary... B)

crikey. I hadnt thought of that. Your right. Ps. Love the colour of your wheels.
