  2. Guys, my Zed (54) will be going in for some work this week under warranty, my gearbox will be coming off. Im thinking as its off, i may as well put a new clutch in as this has 43k on it. What you think? I found this http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissan_350Z_3.5_2004/p/car-parts/car-transmission/clutch-and-associated-parts/clutch-kit/?641701280&1&320128b5c707638aa0158a91406c2130a883bb1b&000069 I know Exedy are a known brand, anybody had the pleasure? Thoughts?

  4. Awesome Hadn't seen it about in here you see so thought I would ask. Think I'll be taking the exhaust they have
  5. Hey guys, has anybody used the Z center in nottingham? http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=24 Found them from the Japspeed dealer list. Thoughts? they have a exhaust for £270, i emailed them and they said its the same as the Japspeed K2, which Japspeed logo on the tail pipes. but the Japspeed is £100 more expensive. Thoughts?
  6. lol don't worry dude, you don't, its only an emergency thing. Im sure i can put him in a front facing car seat when he is 9kg.. i think thats fine in the Zeds.
  7. Hi guys, i know this has been covered, i have read some posts on here but thought i would start a new one to get a 2015 answer opposed to a 2013 and being old. I have a 54 Zed, from what i can gather, the cars has no option to turn off the passenger air bag off but i see people mention removing a fuse. Now i have a family car and the kid sits back seat in that but i want to be able to put him in the Zed if my other car is ever down. I know the seats go pretty far back n its not like i would be speeding anyway. So my question.... The fuse. Does removing the fuse disable all airbags or is each bag on its own fuse?
  8. Magic, Thanks buddy, then i have an aftermarket Y-pipe. That makes it easier for me to consider exhaust, my Y-pipe looks newish Thread handed back now, thanks
  9. Sorry to Hi-jack the thread but does anybody have a picture of a standard 350z Y-pipe? The only reason i ask is because i was under the impression mine was standard but my pipe looks like the above but its not stainless or doesnt look it.
  10. Well took it back to where i got it from and they had a look at it, they cannot see anything obvious but they say its coming from the gearbox. Good news, gearbox is covered under warranty so finger crossed lol
  11. oooo i like that fuel cap, just had a look on the site tasty
  12. well i was in, but got kicked out and unable to get back bye bye people, its been emotional
  13. Forgot t to get a video of this for people to look at. see below
  14. Liquid aluminium or Liquid titanium? I think mine falls under this but now i don't which out of the two, chat shows 1 and other shows another
  15. how many people am i to PM ha I'll pm this chap too then
  16. Balls lol my thoughts were along these lines.... The garage that put the arm on said in a passing comment that the arm cost £180 from the main dealer. Now am i right to assume that it would be much more than this from Nissan? And can anybody advise on a reputable place to purchase one or am i best looking at one from Nissan?
  17. it hasent been replaced but it appears to be fine, no movement, just a wobble when a pri bar is used as with the other side, bush looks fine and sat middle. I want to avoid the guessing game on replacing parts lol
  18. Good stuff, was following this on Facebook. Glad your sorted.
  19. Hey guys, So my 54 plate Zed is knocking at the front... ( i know, could be anything ) looking for tips or secrets lol I have checked everything under there for movement and had a mechanic look over it too and we cannot find anything suspicious, It has had a front banana arm i think its called replaced and you can see the bush is sitting middle, had the pri bar in both ends to check for movement, admittedly both sides i can make move a Tad but i imagine that was normal, even the new one has a slight move to it when pushing hard. The knock is when going over unstable ground and is irritating. Any clues on what i should check? checked the lower arms, drop links, top mounts, wheels etc... Could do with some fresh checks lol
  20. This is my first zed and first RWD hat i have had to look at so im not 100% what im looking for although i intend on learning. I was in the car when the video was being taken so didn't check for play. Should there be any play in the shaft? or a little? to be honest i'm really looking for the definite answer of "no this shaft shouldn't sound like this" once i'm 100% i can look to into fixing or replacing. Anybody have an idea on rough price of these new n pre-owned? i know i can PM the above member
  21. any more takers on this? could really do with thoughts from experience
  22. That's good to know, ideally would like to know if mine sounds to be not normal before I start looking at changing
  23. Found the noise, started a new thread. appears to be coming from the propshaft
  24. So i have a grinding kinda noise on the Zed, its a 54 with 43k on the clock, for the last few weeks been feeling / hearing a grinding noise low revs under mild acceleration, had the car up on the ramps today and had a look and found this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRYlE7CWrA0 This is the noise i can hear and i can feel through the car, through the pedals in every gear, 1st and 2nd more so we they are pulling away gears mostly used. It didn't do this to begin with and doesnt always do it but its there more often that not. Can anybody shed some light on this? i have RAC warranty and have owned the car for just over 1 month, got it from a car dealer. Look forward to thoughts.
  25. I feel it through my feet, the pedals. Will get it up on Ramps n have a good look... Not drovd many zeds so have nothing to compare it too
