Hey guys, I'm on my mobile so sorry if it's the wrong place for the question. I have seen a few conversation about gears for power runs on a dyno and I'm curious what do you guys think the best gear is. In my experience I have only seen my cars run with 3rd gear but I have seen that some people say the 350 gets a lower power figure when being done in 3rd and 4th is supposedly better What say you guys? I plan in putting my zed on the dyno at modified nationals and I'm curious. Thanks guys.

well the 350 doesnt have an inside courtesy light, this is where i wanted to take the feed from but its only a reflector. Perhaps it may be safer to put another switch on, unless anybody knows if i would be safe with putting a fuse inline and connecting it to the trigger mmmmmm

i was hoping to take the live feed from the troigger but i dont fancy playing with the BCM i wonder if it would be easier to put a separate trigger.

Sorry if its already been discussed, a search only brings up 1 thread with no definitive answer. So it looks like the 350 doesn't have door lights, only a reflector SO... i need to find a feed from the door trigger. Can anybody tell me if the door trigger wiring is easy to get to? I read that i cannot wire it to the interior lights as they are connected to the BCM? tbf i think it easier option would be to take the feed from the trigger. Thoughts?

Did this ever get done? I ask because i have recently acquired a 350 and i plan on installing Nissan projector puddle lights. Cheers guys.

I was thinking the same, 225 is far different from the factory 276, i want to get my car on the dyno at modified nationals but seeing this it was put me off in case i have a very low reading standard

Haha they all sound like plans except the forced induction, done that before on another car, the time and effort I just don't want to do again ha. Well another to knock off the list Replaced the Aerial Didn't want the black, so went a little different.

i do have one coming from the Bay of E.... only cost me £3. Im not really fussed on radio quality, its more looks i have gone for.

I got to mine through the wheel arch line, jack it up to give space and pull back the ache liner. The aerial is on its way, although i was told they are screw? my one pulls off and then has a metal 10m thread in the body. is that normal?

if that's aftermarket then i don't. Its standard. The guy told me they all do it.

yea i agree, i think it was cars scratched, window broke. You have to think, although there are many respectable clubs that go, there are also for lack of a better word "chavs" who go and have very little respect for others. There were also people going around putting cable ties on peoples tent zips so they couldn't get out. Hotel for me every time otherwise i would see me going to prison and doing some time

i have been to this a few years now, never once camped but have heard about things that happen every year. I heard last year cars being damaged... some sick people out there

Hi Guys, I have searched google and found a fair amount relating to this, some say its normal others say not, was curious to you thoughts. I have a 54 350z, the RPM Needle i see bounces when changing gear a little quick or harder acceleration. Its not a problem for me, i'm just curious to if this is a common thing with no concern or if i should look more into it? Look forward to comments.

I'm going but I'm with a Hyundai stand as that was my last car. Will keep a look out for all you lot

So got the car Really happy with it. 54 plate with 43k on the clock, standard except for the head unit. Sounds and drives beautifully, will take some getting use to the clutch though.

Hi Guys, Am i right in saying these alloys are from the 350z touring model? i think i read it somewhere, i could be mistaken. The reason i ask is although i don't mind these alloys, i really do like the Rays forged ones. Are these alloys sought after? or do people generally not want these types? I'm trying to figure out if they would sell if i did acquire one with these alloys and wanted to buy the rays. Thanks guys. P.S i did use the search and google, didn't think the answer i wanted.
