    Hi mate could you please lower my car in these photos not so that its slammed but sitting on the tyres nice ? And also could you try make the spoiler fit better my mate attempted it but couldn't get it quite right. Thanks

     

    Only just finished 1 but here it is lowered. I don't have much experience with lowered cars as I've only just got into modding, but hopefully it's realistic enough:

    • Dig out and concrete in new steel gate posts (recycled Armco) Done
    • Build gazebo seat for the mrs Done
    • Concrete in block footings for new workshop (got absolutely drenched through)Done
    • Dig trenches for new polytunnel no time left not done
    • Manure veg raised beds no time left not done
    • Plant onions and garlic no time left not done

    So, did everyone manage to do what they planned?

     

    For me:

    • Buying and fitting a second hand front lip - Bought but not fitted :thumbdown:
    • Seeing if it's possible for me (with my limited skills) to fit/adjust/paint some fibre glass side skirts - Didn't do :thumbdown:
    • Tinker with some second hand aftermarket headlights I bought a while back - Didn't do :thumbdown:
    • Possibly start refurbing some second hand rays I bought a while back. Well I say refurb but for now I'm just sanding off the clearcoat - Sanded for about 5 mins then got bored :thumbdown:
    • Going out with a friend - DONE! :thumbs:

    Where did my long weekend go?! :wacko:

    It's fine mate lol don't really worry about the spoiler to much just wondered what a bgw would look like... Lol

     

    Ok, I'll do what I can and will post asap! Should have time tonight unless the wife demands I sort something in the house :lol:

    R35 GTR exhaust

    Not sure about how much work is required, but I take it you've seen this video?

     

     

    Oh and this bit in the description, not sure how much it helps but:

     

    The GT-R exhaust does not bolt up, it takes some fabrication in the mid section of the exhaust and changing the location of the hangers on the mufflers.

    Yeah thanks hodaka, helped me decide that the hands wont be going black. Gold wheels are a bit ott but quite like the white on white look

    Better half is away until Tuesday, so I'm free to play! :D

    That's me never going out in the rain in the zed again then! I hope these lights don't become a problem.

     

    Well, that pretty much means never taking the zed out again in this country :lol: But yeah, although it's a PITA I'd take off the bumper and seal them just to be sure.

     

    I have a black car, and back in London late last night bud :)

    I bought some Granville Clear Silicone Sealant, it's exactly for this kind of thing too.

     

    Ah right, not you then!

     

    And yeah, that's the exact thing I plan to use (when I get around to it) except mine is black. :thumbs:

    I love these lights but I feel they suffer from a bit of an issue with the seal. For me, one side had major issues with water leakage, and the other side now has 1 LED in the fog light that's being a bit temperamental. I heard it's quite common for aftermarket lights to have crappy seals, but it was news to me as it's the first set of lights I've ever purchased. :surrender:

     

    I would definitely recommend going over the seal again with silicon or something. Might be obvious to some, but thought I'd chime in as it may help more novice members on here like me :)

    Hey both,

     

    Thanks for your requests. I'll take a look into it asap but I've been a bit busy this weekend!

     

    @atomic350z - This is the first request I've had to lower a car. Not sure how it'll turn out but I can certainly give it my best shot! Also do you mind providing me with the original photos? Like the original spoiler image, and your 350z (first pic) without the spoiler.

     

    @LDUNKZ18 - Your request sounds simple, so should be able to turn that around quite quickly. My parents are around today, so depending on what time they leave, I *might* be able to do it today.
