Managed to get it sorted. Believe it or not via eBay, it's a good match on smaller items like Spatz and lips any bigger area I'd use a body shop to get it spot on.

Welcome I've also got import with Bose, you can get bandwidth extenders but as Zeus said replacing with aftermarket will free you up to achieve Bluetooth and multimedia.

It's given me the confidence to move on to spray the front lip which is currently black. I then need to add some side skirt extensions and finish off by treating myself to a mopping kit so I can buff the whole car to remove minor scratches. Note to self, research mopping kits😀

Thanks it took a week to sort but worth it. The colour is KYO Chrome silver, I got it off eBay but it's a very close match considering the cars 12 years old. The Spatz catch the light at slightly different angles which kinda compensates for it.

Thanks, they are oem G35 Spatz originally imported from USA, I got them off a guy who decided not to put on his car. I think Tarmac have them from time to time.

Good idea on the pilot hole, it will make fitting more precise. I already have some automotive self tappers so will use those with some stainless washers as suggested. To be honest with 4 self tappers and 3m strips on each? I can't see them coming off. Fingers crossed🙈

Hi all, I've just finished colour coding the G35 Spatz I picked up and plan to fit them to my skyline at the weekend. The Spatz didn't come with ant fixings apart from the 3m tape. Can anyone who has fitted these confirm if I use self tapping screws to fit with the pre drilled holes in the Spatz or are bolts used to fit. Thanks in advance

Yeah I agree, funny thing is I originally wanted a Z, but needed the 4 seats, very happy with this car now������ between you and me ive been looking at switching to a G recently I don't think you'd regret it, just take your time to find the right one.

Just waiting for the Base coat to arrive, I didn't order it until I'd finished prep, as I knew I'd be getting itchy fingers to get it finished.😀

I'm not usually a patient person but I'm taking my time on the Spatz, there now prepped and primed ready for base coat.

I see where your coming from. I originally just followed the instructions on the hdev kit I bought. Your right it looks like it will go that way, I'll take a look at the weekend.

At the moment I'm doing them in burnt real GR5 titanium. Might do a cheaper anodised aluminium version later, we'll see what the future brings. Not yet, have to finalise the production costs, should have a price next week, but as I said before, being real titanium, is not going to cheap. As I'm not looking to produce 1000pcs, that will also add to the cost, being a smaller batch, but in the same time, will be something very rare so will hold value in time Cool thanks, the only ones I've seen up to now are the EVO ones. No rush planning to pop one on before winter as you can see I'm in need lol

For me it's the format I will miss. Like others I watch fifth gear which is ok but doesn't have the buzz for me that the format of May Hammond & Clarkson as a team did. I'm not a fan of the BBC anyway so will probably give the new show a miss. They'll be back on another channel once the dust has settled.
