I have been reading bit a long time ago on my350z in States that Akebono's are not much of upgrade over Brembos with decent rotors and pads so i ruled them out for now. Always interested if some BBK available Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Would love a ride in any of those Zeds so yes I'll give you a heads up if I'm ever heading your way. Brakes I did run my 436Bhp supercharged Zed on track with only a little better than the standard brakes set up, ...I used EBC Turbo Groove discs (standard OEM size), Ferodo DS2500 pads, Goodridge s/s braided brake lines with Motul RBF600 brake fluid. This set up worked well enough for a short stint but anymore than 5 laps or so and I'd have started to lose the brakes imo I'm sure. Although obviously your car doesn't weigh more than a standard Zed it does go a lot faster now (as did mine). The problem with that though is that when you're on track you'll be going a lot faster than any standard Zed in a much shorter space meaning that a corner a standard Zed might approach at 60mph you could be doing more like double that speed. This means that you'll realistically need to start braking a lot earlier for corners than a standard Zed if you're still running standard or near standard brakes. Personally I didn't get a BBK but only because I ran out of funds to get it done when I had my car supercharged. It was on my to do list though should I have kept the car for longer. Is it worth getting? Tbh in your case I'd say 100% yes especially as I think you're going to be keeping your Zed for the long haul and you enjoy driving it hard (as it should be ). Just think of it as an investment in "not crashing". A big brake kit new or used is a lot of money but definitely cheaper than repairing your Zed should you run out of braking space on the track or road. Maybe try zmanalex to see if he has a used BBK you can get cheaply? Probably not but just an idea. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Interested to see what you decide but at the end of the day it is your money, your car & your decision so it's all good whichever way you go as long as you're happy. Yes you have pointed all out well. All from A to Z is on spot. I have a long winter ahead of me and car wont see road b4 spring il say April. Until that time i will try to figure out what and how. Second hand BBK well like looking for needle in haystack here in Europe. In States yes but than with such a weight shipping costs and customs again abnormal price. Always something comes along the way to mess with the plans. Now I was planning to upgrade injection system injectors and pump, i need to upgrade suspension and brakes. Never ending projects. And always there is this 15% of unfinished stuff on car. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Would love to experience a ride in this Zed as I bet it's amazing. As for your brakes I'd honestly try to stretch your budget to a big brake kit if you can. I'd say with the power your car has honestly nothing else is really a sensible option. Sure Adrian@Torqen or one of the other traders on here could do you a good deal or maybe you could find some used from zmanalex? Maybe worth a PM. Link: http://www.torqen.uk/91-big-brake-kits Well if your paths ever cross over Croatia give me a shout. 3 of boosted Z in our garage. Each to their own taste. 2 bi turbos one with lot of grunt from basment other on top and 1 mid mount 800 bhp roadster DD for 402m races. As for brakes yes that was my concer mainly. Is BBK really worth of exstra cost over 2 piece rotors and some top of the range pads. Since 2 piece standard size rotors plus pads and racing oil will be almost close to half price of BBK. I see here few members are tracking their boosted Z on this combo of 2 piece standard rotors and high stuff pads Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

EBC GD rotors and Yellow stuff. Really on road no remarks but on track is not working as it shoud if you wanna chase clock Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

I have been using it from moment we rebuilded engine, with forged internals, race bearings and went twin turbo. Mainly i change it around 5000 km 6000km. Excellent oil Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Thanks Car has mental pull. Specially on 6000 rpm really start going nuts. In 3rd gear this is almost 100 mph and car tends to slide on straights. As for brakes im still on stock brakes. After reading here some topic and exchanging thoughts with few members here I decide i will try on 2 piece rotors with some premium pads such as Carbon Lorraine or similar. So did my first track day with Zed. Awsome experience. I have been tackling this track with motorcycle. With car complete different experience. This is mainly motorcycle track so angles in curves are quite big. All in all very happy with cars performance. Few issues are. SUSPENSION -Bilstein B14 are definitely for chasing times on track. Very nervous rear end i would say that rebound is bit high. So most likely to upgrade to Bilstein B16 BRAKES - With speeds that car is capable EBC can't cope on track. For daily use and Highway or country roads quite ok. But on track i push it hard few times they have initial bite and thats all. More pressure being applied to pedal but nothing is going on. COOLING -Im on OEM radiator and fans (tried Mishimoto combo and car was overheating in dd situations) with Nismo low temp thermostat. After 3 fast laps i would get a Rev cut safety option of Haltech if temps go up. So as soon as I ease gas pedal temp would go to normal. So 3 fast laps and than easy lap for cooling. I would like to figure out now some option which can cope with track conditions. SEATS -Dissaster. OEM seats offer no side suport so i was all over them. Plus the mount are very high so with helmet on i need to lower back of the seat and i was driving i dont know. In some half laying postion. I have Sparco seats which i need to refurbish over winter and make a low mount rails. I was amazed with loads of grip that car has. Really on road there is no way to experience this. I didn't expect that car will handle so good. Yokohamas proved to be great around tyre. On roud excellent on track magnificent Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Any recommendations for tyre pressure on track. Yokohama AD08R are up, 75% left corners and asphalt is very hars. Load of grip and tyre wear Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Woow just went quickly over your thread. Awsome job! I have seen few ideas which i will steal Since you are seriously tracking your car, what is your impression of 2 piece rotors over oem or similar ebc. As this is my next upgrade im trying to find first hand reviews. I see you are doing a good homework on cooling. I went with Mishimoto performance rad together with fan shroud, low temp thermostat on my Greddy Twin Turbo and i had constant overeating problems. Went back to oem setup again and no more heating issues Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
