I must admit,I am not a huge fan of the large lip splitters that are the norm that get put onto the z, I do like the less snow plough look of the one u are after! Personal preference is all important when choosing kit for the car!.

Not bought new,got on eBay, Yeah would be unhappy if I had & had not come with gaskets! So since posting I have been lead to be live that I need one 3" and not sure on other?! Anybody shed some light???

as title I have bought cobra and I am a needing gaskets before fitting. I have not received exhaust yet so I need advise from people in the know! as I say can anyone point me to the correct size gaskets two I need if I am correct? one for the back box to mid pipe and one for the joint between mid pipe and oem centre. thanks in advance!!!!

GOT ONE!!!!!! found a resonated cat back cobra on the bay!!!!!!!!!! bit more money than I wanted to pay BUT got fed up waiting! right,as its second hand I will need to buy some new gaskets so I can fit it, any ideas on the correct gasket size needed? I will need two if I am correct? so if anyone knows size required please let me know so I can get them on order asap! regards,simon.

I have been after a cat back and looked at it,but "custom" put me off!! normally means too loud/quite,and also no testing done so may harm car!!

Thermostat housing!!!!. I learnt a very expensive lesson after buying a 2005 mini cooper s 39.000miles fsh . NEVER BUY A BMW MINI AGAIN! Cost me £1380 in 5 1\2 months of ownership. I had coolent weep from thermostat housing,and also the crank sensor o-ring! Common on r52\3 and current models! I also had oil leak that is hard to diagnose as oil covers the sump area,had new sump gasket first as this is common to go but still oil so had to have the rear main seal done(between engine & gearbox) Never,never,buying BMW mini again. Anyway hope you get it sorted!!

As title??? I have used the search but can't find difinative answer. I am half way through a refurbishment on the rays & need to find answer! I like closed end black tuner nuts (in steel!) Any ideas or recommended sellers people have used? Thanks.

Well I had many cars in past & I must agree the 2004 blob eye in BLUE was probably the best, fast ,comfortable, practical car I ever owned,in fact it was only the miles were getting up on it that I got shot of it! Never missed a beat,& made me smile,loved the four wheel drive,the sound,and reliability! It was a toss up between the z or a sti & the z won. I will own another,I guess there not everyone's cup of tea but i don't buy a car for anyone else but me!

I will check but I think I would have noticed that before!? I really think that now the interior trim is the culprit as now maybe touching the trim on the boot as correctly seating!?? Any ideas appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
