  1. I keep getting these calls. I listen to them, then ask them what the IP address is of the problem pc. I then ask them the MAC address and the email address that I used when I registered. They can't answer the questions unless I log on and give them control of my windows machine. That's followed by how do I log on to a windows machine when I'm running a MAC machine and would I have a windows problem? They then hang up. All they do is go through about 1000 calls a day. If I can keep them on the line and wind them up then bonus. I've got to have my entertainment one way or another. The best is when they ring, I will tell them that the person they want to talk to is being investigated and would they hold on as their call is being traced as they may be involved. It just carries on. Don't get angry get even.
  2. Looks like I've missed out on the dampers as only seen the update once I hit the post button.
  3. It may well have been a bikeHUD. Its a small display unit that is set up to the engine to provide speed, gear, indictor and camera notification. Just search for bike hud. Hope this helps.
  4. I went to halfords and gave them the paint code. They gave me the option in size of bottle or spray. Opted for the bottle and it is a perfect match. They make the paint up based on the code. Give them a try it worth it for small touch ups.
  5. Mate, I don't know you but it's a harsh reality when you read and hear about it. It could happen to anyone of us. Wish you all the best to you and your family.
  6. You have a fantastic set of skills. What more can you say. Just brilliant.
  7. I've been looking into plastic dip too. Was thinking of doing the roof line on my 350. It needs several coats and layered well, with time to cure so that it hardens well. Again from just reading about the product, its suppose to last and take pressure washing and car washes. (would never take my cars through a car wash). Go for it, as you said that you can always remove it.
  8. Hi All, I've been looking for a 350z for the past 6 months and crossed this site several times in gathering information. From reading post and comments I get the feeling that the z community is one that is supported by each other and that makes such a difference. The information on the site has been very useful and has guided me in what to look for and what not to look at. It's also given be a desire to do some of the things that others have done, so hopefully over time I will be contributing to the forum with my own input. I'm an electrician by day so the car is purely for enjoyment and having some fun. Also have a Honda VFR800F1 which adds to the pleasure. Picked up my 350z last weekend, 53 plate in orange and a GT version. The headunit had been replaced by the last owners but they didn't get the steering control adapter, so leaving the the left side control unusable. May look to sort this out. There are some marks on the paint work, so plan to clay the car, and then use the 3 stage cut, polish and wax when I get the chance. Pics to come when it stops raining. I would be interested to find out if there are any local meets in and around the Stockport/ Buxton areas, some good roads to open up on. Cheers, Ash
