  3. ive got standard oem disks up front. Came to fit my 20mm spacers but there's is a protrusion between two studs with a nut at the end presuming its for lubing the wheel bearing?? So how the heck to I fit the spacer with this in the way?? Can I cut it off using the spacer to close off the hole???
  4. £165 lol. As you said, there must be cheaper ones around. Nice though.
  5. thanks flex. theyll be on tonight hopefully
  6. i would. Add another Pin Switch for the light. Or maybe from the inside courtesy light but fuse it inline??
  7. Took the car in for its MOT, the first one since ownership. The car sailed passed no problem, but the tester gave me an advisory on the "w" brace bar on the underside of the car. Now here's me thinking is a type of strut brace and is removable and if you don't want it you can take it off as you " could" with the one in the engine bay" ie...if its not there, he's none the wiser. here's what I mean, which is corroded to buggery...... He told me to clean it up and paint it, which is what Ive done. So because it formed part of the test, I'm thinking, this forms part of the structural integrity of the car because the roof has been chopped off. (do the coupe's have this???) Any how, ill be looking to replace it end of the month. Where could I buy one of these, not this crappy OEM one but something abit stronger and sexier. Also whilst I was under the car painting it, I decided to do the whole lot with silver underseal, so at least I know I wont get corrosion on the under side nor the arches. If the silver can be seen through my new alloys, Ill be going over the silver with mat black. (just seen the paint on the disk, reminder to clean off!!! :-) )
  8. are they aluminium or stainless?? either way count me in for a 350. Very Nice.
  9. The plastic is triangular shape and it's just there to protect some of the bushes. Not really needed but you can easily tie it back by jacking the car up and removing the back wheel. Nothin to worry about. Edit...in Wales it's normally lamb with us. Nice too, just cut a slice off the silencer with a glass of Merlot. Enjoy.
  10. try zmanalex. He should be able to help you on here. Top Bloke
  11. cool guys thanks. Will give it a bash.
  12. Theres a link on here to the american forum showing all the OEM cables n colours. You need that. Then just match what it sais on the new cable loom that you get with your new HU. Simples. Oh ye also you will need to connect the "powered" amplifier for the arial. The arial has a booster which is in the boot. So you need this plugged in. Green I think?? otherwise youll have no reception. I ran the mike under the steering wheel dash, then pull back the door rubber just enough to feed the cable inside the piller using a taped up flat screwdriver (otherwise might risk scratching the plastics). Do this until its all the way at the to. The just wrap it around the vizor hinge and clip it on the vizor somewhere. Good Luck
  13. Ei oop lad. Sorry bad yorkshire acent. Lol welcome on board. Plus you have the best colour. I call mine gunmetal. Still dont know the correct name. Lol
  14. Is it just the back box or from the cats back? The pics just shows the tips.
  15. As it sais really. Mrs zebb has got one of those x5 steam mops for doing our laminate floors and its pretty good at what it does. So this thing comes with a hand held attachment to do other nooks and crannies and such. So was thinking...would it be safe to use on the engine bay prior to starting a tart up. Im guessing youd have to be carefull with the eleccy bits etc. Anybody tried???
  16. Damn.theres a few of us in south west wales. We need a sunday run. Whos up for one end of the month??
  17. Was written in a complete panic mate. Lol. Mods feel free to move it. Sorry.
  18. Ye Neil your right. Really pi**ed off but since cooled down knowing you guys have sorted me out one. Sites like this one and the comradeship goes a long way.
  19. Cheers guys Alex sorted me out again. Top man. Yet when I saw him on the rollers and yanking the thing up I cringed. I asked why pull so hard he said I've had to to lock the brakes???? . And yes mines a UK de model. I thought you best not do this model on the rollers but was too late to question him. He also failed me on guess what.... No handbrake. Cheeky tester. So they will fit the replacement with no charge. Should I tell him not to test it on the rollers???? Thanks for the advice thus far guys. Also must add I've never heard of these snapping before, I took a look and its made of cast aluminium so not great anyways in my opinion. Is this quite common???
  20. Has any one got a complete hand brake for sale. Had an mot this morning and it snapped whilst it was on the rollers test the brake. Yes the handle itself snapped. Hope someones got a z beaking for parts. Cheers.
  21. any fastner shop. Take the old one with you and make sure that the grade of the steel is quite high. (hard) Dont go to b and q and the like.

    Wheel spacer nuts

Any fastner store can help you out there, or if your handy, grind them down to the required height then thread them onto something other than your spacers to get rid of the burr and to clean out the thread itself.
  23. Ok, to the point of appearing quite cheeky, I've got a 4ft sheet of perspex in my garage which I've got left over from another job. Can I ask if someone is willing to sellotape a few sheets of paper together and draw around your custom slam panel and post it out to me inorder that I can make one. Obviously Ill pay you for the post and for your time for doing this. If you can help, please drop me a pm. thanks in advance.
  24. great colour. Paint your calipers tho either a nutral or same colour as the car. Nice work.
