  1. F50 is fugly. F40, well, I've seen mixed reviews about the drive but i'd love one. Would I pick an Enzo above an F40? Certainly wouldn't have a 959 over any of them

  2. Cracking colour but just a bit over done for me. I know the RB kits are expensive but they look cheap to me, something about the front arches looking like they couldn't be bothered to trim the excess off where it comes up towards the mirror, and those rivets - just add some proper fasteners. All a bit Halfords to my eyes but each to there own and all that.

  3. Well after just one short year, I've let the Zed go to a home where it will get more use than I had time for. Pretty gutted to see it go but just like the previous owner, Bems, we are now expecting a second child and I will soon have even less time to enjoy the car. It seemed a waste for it to just sit for another year and I was lucky enough to come across a new forum user who happened to be looking for a Zed with the same spec as mine, so I guess it was meant to be.

Car was collected yesterday and I'm sure the new owner will be along shortly to introduce himself.

It’s been a great forum to be a part of and having been to the Ace meets a few times and the Meguiars day, it’s been a pleasure getting to meet some of you boys and girls.

I’ll keep an eye on the forum to see how the car is doing and hopefully how clean and shiny it is being kept.

Thanks to everyone who answered any daft questions I may have had in the early days.

Here she is all waxed up and ready for collection.

  4. Surely a compact plus the lenses you are likely to buy will not actually be that much small that the Canon? personally I cant see the point as it wont be long before you think you cant be bothered to take it out as it still isn't pocket sized. I wouldn't buy a bridge style camera for that reason and would instead buy a decent point and shoot to stuff in my pocket or even leave in the car

  5. Detailing world has cost me a small fortune over the years. For anyone wanting to buy anything, I always use cleanyourcar.com as they do pretty much everything. The meguiars machine past is on there for £295 but a DAS-6 pro machine is less than half the price and every bit as good. They even do a package with megs polish and pads. I use the 6 pro and it's a great machine. Go spend some money people 😊

  6. So, since getting back, who's been cleaning their car? I've probably spent about 5 hours on mine over the last few days. It's been snow foamed, washed, clayed, polished, glazed and tonight, waxed. I do actually enjoy it but tonight was knackering as I got talking to the old boy next door and left the wax on for too long. Happy with it though :wub:babe91c8d110d84e6908a7da0f32e70c.jpgd2615bc1ec0aec55460491c86491cec3.jpg4e0f121aff91eba7afe831cecf05426d.jpga0c89fff924590f908487bb182b70d31.jpg

  7. Bit harsh saying people are stupid for blowing cash on a wedding! I wasn't up for a big do but mine just snowballed and with honeymoon we spent just shy of £40k. It was New Year's Eve, we had around 200 people in a massive Manor House and most people stayed over. I'd do it again every year if I could as I had the best time ever. So shocked just how much I enjoyed it, so you do what ever makes you happy no matter how large or small your budget.
