It's just an older model that didn't sell for a while and sat in a lot waiting for a buyer. It would then have been registered at point of sale. There are quite a few of the older models knocking around on 08 and 09 plates.

Seems pretty clear he was going to tuck in behind you but as he came across, you slowed down due to the person in front, causing him to hit you. But insurers love a roundabout accident as they often go for 50/50 meaning they can blame you both, take both your no claim bonus and put up both premiums next year. If this happens, fight it.

Nice but completely unnecessary and no doubt stupidly expensive to fix on the day it gets stuck down in the rain. Why not just unclip the targa top and lob it in the boot, saving a load of weight and expense

Will probably sound a bit nicer but will suck up lots of hot air from the engine. Will lose power once engine is up to temp

I think the standard 350 is looking old now but if you have a one in a decent colour with a nismo kit, then it will still look fresh. I do prefer the 370 looks though

I really don't think I'm wrong. I've read a lot about clay and at the meguiars day I asked and their rep confirmed that their clay comes from exactly the same place as their competitors
-
Don't believe the BS about one clay being better than others. All clay comes from the same factory, snotty companies then mark it up more than others but essentially its no better than cheap ebay stuff

Welcome
I think you'll find the zed big, heavy and slow compared to your focus so be prepared to go back to FI with it when you get bored. start test driving now before flogging the Focus

Blacky hasn't been active on here since 2013.

Is there evidence that this makes any gains? I've seen trumpets on throttles bodies and they look like this so I assume its of benefit but i'd be interested to see real world figures on a dyno - out of interest

It's many many hundreds. Samsung being the bright sparks they are glue the back panel on to toughen the phone up, they also bond the screen display to the gorilla glass making separating the two basically impossible. Replacing a cracked screen means lots of new parts. The headline on the SlashGear website was 'seriously, don't break your S7 Edge!' That was alI I needed to see to make my mind up about the phone
-
The edge looks good, but if you ever crack the screen, which is likely with no edge protection, the cost of replacement is extortionate

I did it but I agree with a previous comment, its a big business these days charging far too much money. There are better events these days for less money, and frankly it wasn't as tough as I had imagined.

I have an HTC10. All shops said it is better than Samsung equivalent. I do like it however I find it a bit buggy compared to my last HTC, like they rushed it to get it out - much like most iPhone releases

Wild bore or caramelised onion for me please

This one needs a roof too you need to factor that in. I also agree the bumpers are awful (as are the wheels) but each to their own. Good luck with your search

Hi mate. I have a mid section and back box from my old HR. Car only did 18,000 miles before it was removed, however it is still from a 2007 car so has seen wet weather. I know one or two of the bolts joining the sections had rusted and snapped when it was removed so I guess these will need hammering or drilling out but I can sell it to you if you're interested. Let me know and i'll drag it out the garage for some photos if you want it.
I'm in Cheshunt, Herts

I've always found them decent and the Sample Size section can be a good way of trying something new.

Looks like I'm going to be spending some more cash in Halfords again very soon.

Why is that odd? These cars should be serviced every year so its pretty good if you ask me.

Air con for sure

Good colour combo. I still think night blue is the best colour on a zed

I've heard of people using these and failing MOTs. The cheapies are not great. I bought a cheap Toyosport mid-pipe and back box for my Zed and was happy with the price. However I spent more in the garage having it heated up and bent about to make it fit right than I did on the pipe. Fitment was very poor, however the sound it made wasn't too bad, very raspy but I quite liked it. Personally, with experience I'd say pay for the better ones. I had Berks HFC on mine and they fitted a treat and went through the MOT fine
After a car - thoughts?

Have you tried a post similar to this on pistonheads - the car seems to have one of their stickers on the boot. Failing that, go see it and ask to get through the paperwork and the V5 should have the last owners details. Try getting in touch with them and ask for some history and why they got shot of it. I did that when buying my Zed and found the last owner sold it on knowing the clutch had started to slip ad I needed discs all round
