When I bought my DA machine I got the Sonus kit with 4 different grades of polish, each with its own pad. The kit works well but I just can't get on with stage 3 which is the SFX-3 final finish Polish. This just doesn't seem to work as well as the 2 stages prior or stage 4 which is a sealant. It doesn't work in nicely and takes more work that I think it should to remove.
Any recommendations for a finishing polish that I can use in its place?

Saw 'the wheel' at Ace last night, happy to report it looks far better up close than in the previous thread where it took a fair amount at abuse. Owner is a nice bloke too, good to meet you mate

I've always known it as blue and green should never be seen but a girl I know says red and green. How funny

That's bad news, sorry to hear it

I think it looks good, though as you say, perhaps not entirely perfect. I have a factory fitted Nismo kit and the tips of the rear spoiler very nearly touch the boot lid, only a small piece of foam separate the two so I think yours is a reproduction. Still looks good though and not many would pick up on these things I doubt

Do remember that we have some insurer on here who occasionally join in conversations...

Judging by the reaction they've had, I'm not sure it would be the end of the world to remove them. Sorry, I really wasn't trying to agravate you, you posted pictures of your work inviting opinions. I gave mine. As many have suggested, ditch the tacky stickers, choose one of the two colours and no doubt you'll have a nice looking car.

Wasn't really working for me, then the stickers just made it far worse. Either colour by itself would be cracking.
Awful to see the Kia in the background covered up yet the Aston left to get covered in cr@p

I knew you'd get bored with the civic quite quickly. I really wanted to love the one I drove but it just felt dull with horrible suspension. Audi is a better bet I reckon

My brother in law is putting in an order currently for a Jag XF in white with the black pack and black alloys. I was surprised how good it looked in the showroom. Is that an option?

If its a hit and run its a legal matter I assume? I would have demanded police visit the woman to assess the evidence. They are so lazy most of the time the would probably say no but I would have pushed it hard

You're probably right but I've seen quite a few stories of the gt4 wheel cracking shortly after powder coating. Not worth the risk, just get them painted

Same here. 7pm may be pushing it but if i can make it, closer to 8 seems doable. Happy either way about grub.

Don't get gt4 wheels powder coated, they don't like heat treatment. Painting seems to be ok

Yeah I guess so, but even at that value, the category must devalue it somewhat so it should be visable somewhere. Oh well, makes things easier in this instance

Fine on a car of value but my mums car is worth about 750 quid and let's be honest, who's going to hpi a similar car of similar value. Does feel like the system is leaving itself open to abuse

So not even a change to the logbook? Blimey, how would a potential buyer of a write off know what they're getting into?
