  1. Clutch has been identified as a cheap alternative Exedy part that would not work sufficiently for the Z (thanks Alex) and has therefore been withdrawn. Nismo flywheel is still for sale.
  2. Coming off a 2005 roadster, usual curb marks for age and sorry they're not clean in the pictures! Perfect for winter swaps or cheap track use. Tyres are all legal but will soon need replacing. Approx 1-2mm rears around 2mm fronts. Selling as upgrading to Rays that I'm planning to refurb - does anyone know the name of the colour of the 40th anniversary 370z Rays? £200 Ono collection from Chesham HP5 or Stratford E15 Reduced to £150 and further to £100 for quick sale Thanks for your interest
  3. As per subject its for the DE. Clutch kit was UK supplied I bought this online and have the original invoice. Is the packaging different to ones you supply Alex?
  4. Hi mate I've just put my Exedy clutch and Nismo SMF in the for sale section if you're still on the market for a set. Brand new and boxed. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99317-fs-genuine-nismo-forged-light-weight-flywheel-and-exedy-organic-clutch-kit-for-de/ Cheers
  5. Hi mate I've got some OEM 18s I've just put on the for sale section. £200 for the set. Let me know if you're interested.
  6. I bought these when I first bought the Zed over a year ago thinking the clutch was about to go and anticipating to do some performance mods. The car remains standard and I can't justify the hefty cost to get closer to 300hp. Furthermore after changing the clutch lines and replacing the fluids the problems disappeared. From my research I held out for the Nismo SMF as I heard it's the perfect compromise between performance and minimal chatter. I sourced it from the U.S. and a good mate of mine brought it back with him for me on a visit, otherwise it appears to be hard to source from here. Looking for my cost price which hopefully will be a bargain for somebody here. All items boxed and brand new. £475 + p&p or free collection from East London Edit: Exedy clutch was identified as a falsely sold part that is not adequate for the 350z and has therefore been withdrawn for sale. I'll be pursuing the company for a refund.

  8. Does anyone know if these will fit the standard UK spec 18" non Rays wheels?
  9. Whats the lip on this? Is it a Stillen without the stainless steel pins? Amazing how little you need to do to make the Zed look that good.
  10. Not surprised this went quickly. I would love to have had the dosh to hand over to you. Lucky find embrace congrats.
  11. Looks really nice great mod. For future references does anyone know if the grille will fit in combination with a lip eg stillen?
  12. Ive added some pics in the gallery but not sure how to link it to my posts!
  13. You're not alone re the Tourenn kit Smitherb I spotted that as a favourite for front ends. I also like the subtle lean mean look as opposed to lips canard ands vents everywhere. Personally not a fan of the skirts or rear though. I'm not so sure about the sides of the front bumper on the first kit but I'm a big fan of the rear. If you're able to source the Tourenn front bumper let me know! I would probably combine with Tarmac Sport sides purely for cost efficiency and ease of sourcing and also really like the JP Vizage rear diffuser they also supply (would have to be black though!)

  16. I've posted a few times here and there but wanted to formally introduce myself and my brother Mike with whom I've shared a silver 350z roadster with since April this year. I was inspired to catch Zeditis by a forum admin from back when I was a member of Celica-club.co.uk many years back when I was a 20 year old with a 1999 Replica Veilside Celica. His name was Stephen who moved on from a dark blue Celica to eventually a supercharged Z. Wonder if he's still about? The community and resources here are incredible its already helped me sort out a spongy clutch and wet my appetite for some dream mods - so thank you to you guys and look forward to sharing with you some progress over the next year.

  18. Are there any implications of buying 5 year old HFCs vs shelling out for brand new ones? I'm very interested as it's on my list of mods to do but is there a life expectancy on HFCs?
  19. I've been lusting for a silver contrasting diffuser since first seeing the facelift Elise's. But I actually never noticed the bolts until now - cheers for pointing it out does look a bit "urban". Anyone know the brand of the diffuser and skirts?
  20. Wow the kit on the yellow 350 posted by StevoD on page 1 is stunning! Anyone know what combination of kit and diffuser that is?Not quite worked out how to quote yet!
  21. Thanks a lot for the prompt response Alex. Will probably think about a true dual exhaust of some kind thereafter, but wanted to keep the mods subtle to start with at least. Got a young toddler to budget for afterall!
  22. Hi gents, I'm new to this forum and slowly getting familiar so hope this is the right place to post - the wealth of information on here has already helped my brother and I extensively with the recent purchase of our 2005 DE Roadster. The clutch in our Z was very spongy when we first bought it so following some research we took it to Horsham Developments where Jez and Craig sorted us with a braided clutch line and flushed the system with Motul 600 which has solved the issue. On a gentle track experience however I found when pushed the clutch started to slip under stress, and also 5-6 consecutive laps later it started to smell burnt. I'm under the impression it's on its way out so have already bought an Exedy Organic clutch ready for replacement when it's far gone enough (it drives fine with no slippage in normal conditions, even when occasionally driven enthusiastically). Here comes the question. I've been reading a lot about solid mass vs dual mass flywheels, and I'm very close to ordering a Nismo flywheel for the DE from the US. It seems to be the best compromise between performance and minimum chatter. I also have a friend who is coming over next month so can potentially get away with shipping and duty costs, which begins to justify the £400 price tag inc. some bits. I'm assuming a flywheel designed to fit the US LHD Z will fit the UK spec as long as it's designed for the DE - would anyone here know otherwise? Second question is the supplier in the US recommends also purchasing an uprated clutch pivot ball and updated Roller Bearing Pilot Bushing. They're coming in at around £30 for both but does anyone here know if this would be necessary and whether either would already be part of the exedy clutch bundle? Finally should I consider any other parts before eventually booking it in for fitment? The car is currently completely stock except for the updated clutch line and some hardened suspension bushes. I plan to fit a filter, plenum, sport cats and uprev at the same time as the clutch so should hopefully be targeting for 310-320 bhp. Thanks in advance for any advice.
