  1. Which would you recommend, and why?

The OEM was real easy to fit and I personally think it looks much prettier than the UR one, but I guess you could paint the UR one black. However, I am sort of thinking I should have gone with the UR one now as I think it is slightly more rigid. The OEM one feels incredibly flimsy. I can't see there is massive difference in weight between the two, certainly not enough to make a difference on a car as heavy as a zed. I think I picked the OEM one as I wanted less hassle fitting it and thought like for like would be simpler. I didn't need the end brackets which was a big relief!

  2. Muppets or Sesame Street and why?

Research ont'tinterweb suggests that the preschool educational television program Sesame Street was first aired on public broadcasting television stations November 10, 1969. By this time I was 23 and so didn't watch much TV aimed at children.

When the Muppet Show was aired (1976–1981), I was living and working in Nigeria building airports and the only entertainment that was available and worth watching were films recorded in Philips Video 2000 format (pre-dating Betamax and VHS)

So to answer your question, I didn't see much of either ... but I do like Animal if that's the one on the drums :)

I'm guessing you've never seen Fraggle Rock either then!!!!

Do you really believe that there are intelligent life forms elsewhere in the Universe or do you think we are all alone on this planet? And if the first, do you think we will ever find them?

  3. Stop feeding Jetpilot's suspicions lol

Think it might be a while before I sell my baby, but will let you know.....insurance renewal might be a bit painful this year :(

    Good answers :)

    What? When was that?

  5. Question number 1: In a fight (over you, obviously lol), who would win......Gal or Keira?

  6. Seriously though, anyone can go on SAC. So it would be wrong for insurance companies to penalise you just because you've done the course!

ilogikal1, if the insurance company don't have access to the SAC attendee database, how will they be able to use this information to invalidate your claim? I know someone who has been on the SAC and then got caught speeding again. Police ran a licence check and SAC didn't come up. The conviction went to court and still no-one spotted the SAC. So, who actually has this information and can access it??

  7. Firstly, I'm with Admiral and they have never asked if I've been on the course or if I've been caught speeding. They have only asked if I have any convictions.

Secondly, I'm really not sure 'who' knows you've been on the course as 'police' checks don't seem to reveal the information either.

You can't lie about it! But if people don't ask and don't seem to be able to find the information then I don't see the harm in not mentioning it. Afterall, anyone CAN attend the course. You don't have to wait until your caught speeding.

  8. Depends on circumstances of death. If I'm healthy, fully functioning, and in a the world is about to be blown up situation, Independence Day style...then I'd want to get to the people I love. I'd probably save the world from impending doom, have loads of awesome sex, kick ass, car chase scene feature somewhere and make everyone laugh along the way, that's the way I roll :) If it's serious delibatetory (might have just made that world up as autocorrect hasn't jumped in) illness then I'd want to slip away no fuss, unnoticed, no pain to those I love!

Edit: Always wanted to swim with sharks also, but too chicken after lifetime of watching jaws ;)

  9. Had a serious chat with OH last night about the whole ARDS course (I did get him drunk first) :) And he's being really supportive. I think we all know it won't amount to anything serious but I know that if I don't have a go now then I'll probably look back later in life and regret it. Everyone's allowed to be a little bit crazy once in a while, plenty of time for seriousness later. I've got enough money to not need to worry about lack of income for a little while, so will be interesting to see how this all pans out. Watch this space.........

Just need to convince work to pay for it now lol

  10. Sorry.....just spotted this, someone should have prodded me :(

Erm, do you know what....I love travelling. Have travelled through America from NY to LV, camped my way around Canada, backpacked round Thailand twice, did a bit of work in The Gambia, hot air ballooned in Kenya, not to mention visiting France, Germany, Belgium (Spa :)), Portugal, Spain, Greece & Dubai, plus some other place I've forgotten. Loved them all to visit but wouldn't want to move to any of them. Really want to visit Japan, but I think it would feel claustrophobic and hectic after a while. Caribbean sounds nice but might get bored of the endless sun, sand & sea. Australia/New Zealand might be a possible though, although difficult to say as not been there yet.

So, my answer is....drum roll please.....England! I like the seasons, the countryside with amazing views, vibrant cities, just wish the weather was a bit better! Took the zed for a lovely Sunday morning drive through the countryside this morning, sun shining, no traffic - couple of buckets of mud in my wheel arches removed when I got back.....but still, gotta live it here :)
