I tried to check the oil yesterday but after it had been running a while. couldnt get a ready properly as it was just all over the dipstick everytime i tried lol. will take a look tonight now its cooled down! I'm swapping out the 5 40 too and putting in some 5 30!

ok so i went pod! ran a 14.8 which aint bad considering only mod i have is exhaust lol and a smokey car so back to the smoke lol. i done 6 runs at pod and over 500 miles since wednesday (service) and its still the same. so i can only assume oil still leaking in through plug ill re seat it later or valve seals are gone?? plus im gonna drop the oil and put some 5/30 in as usual! see how that goes

we'll see how it goes at pod tomorrow lol. it seems to get worse then ok theb worse then ok. i thought if it was in the sparky bit it would have burnt out by now?

well i decided to make a thread of all the things i come across on ebay as im browsing on there alot. rather then waste forum space and create 4-5 threads a day i thought id update just one thread. if it bothers you enough to make a thread about it i will be happy to remove it if it offends you in anyway??

yeah sounds about right. i met the owners of it at the classic car show in the exel couple mo ths back! theyve just taken the subframe and made a modernized car underneath lol

haha lads calm it. im not worrying im taking it down pod tomorrow lol if it blows it blows its gonna be sonething silly as it was fine before the oil change even with the decats! will take it for a longer drive today and see how it goes.

ive done about 8-10 miles and its still there and i left it idleling for about 30 mins before that too. theres no loss of power car performs much better since the service lol

had valvoline 5w30 in before. also as above i did do the plugs at the same time ansd one does have an oil leak but it didnt smoke like this last time i done them and the leak was there then too!!

as said 4.7l with a filter change too

i put 4.7l in with a filter change. erm.. its shell oil lol might just run it through and wack something better in. no other synptoms running as per. just smoking.
