  3. really i thought it was a gasket with 2 bolts joining in to the first mid pipe? If so where would i get a new O ring?
  4. How much will postage be as i can't find the gasket on your site, also do you accept paypal?
  5. hmmm that's a good point im sure it doesn't make a difference
  6. Oh dear sorry that happened to you, thank you very much for letting me know that, i nearly bought the wrong one too thanks for that big help
  7. Hi Guys, Just a quick question my OEM exhaust needs a new gasket at the back where it joins from the exhaust back box to the first mid pipe section is the gasket in between that a 3 inch gasket? Thanks
  8. how much do you reckon you will be selling it for
  9. Show off Nah i'd being doing the exact same if that bay was mine
  10. That is very true about it being listed for a 300zx though i'm sort of sure they are the same size as the 350z as my dad had a 300zx and he as 2 of the HKS panel filter still and i'm sure they are the same size but i'm not 100% sure so don't buy just in case I'm wrong The air filter in the 350Z also fits various other vehicles including the Nissan X-Trail, Murano and the 200SX that I know of so probably does fit the 300 too. I thought so I may get the HKS filters down from the loft in the garage tomorrow and fit one of them on after a good blow out for any dirt and dust and see what it will do nothing probably but it will keep me busy for a few mins
  11. Where can i get that pipe from lol and i take it as that's a JWT pop charger filter
  12. That is very true about it being listed for a 300zx though i'm sort of sure they are the same size as the 350z as my dad had a 300zx and he as 2 of the HKS panel filter still and i'm sure they are the same size but i'm not 100% sure so don't buy just in case I'm wrong
  13. I have never fitted one but i have seen many comments on hear saying it will give a bit more noise but nothing major, even certain induction kits don't make a massive difference unless you pay out silly money at the end of the day most people buy the induction kits for show the way they look on show in an engine bay Someone else may be able to comment and let you know what these sound like who have fitted them
  14. I agree with sam my toyota supra used to do the exact same it acts as a warning so you check everything lol

    Abs light

abs kicks in when you skid so it maybe as you have all new brake lines discs and pads that your stopping power is so much better that it probably won't do it till a higher speed then before, or it will do it in the rain. I personally wouldn't care if the light doesn't come on as long as it brakes and brakes well and hard when i need it too i would leave it be, as it's when you can't get the light to go off is when it's a pain in the A## had that problem on one of my old car's had to sell it in the end long story . So yeah as long as it brake's all well and good i would leave it be i'm sure it will come on if it had too
  16. there are so many myths and some that turn out true i wouldn't want to pay all that money on a fujitsubo and find it's nothing like the nismo I think i'm going to wait till my standard one needs replacing or wait till i see a cheap original one for sale that is in good condition with no holes etc as i know some people take them off a new ish 350z like 2007 plate and put an aftermarket exhaust on and sell the standard one, as i do love the look and sound of the original exhaust
  17. i have always used shell v power nitro never and any faults and not bad price either well depends were you are though it's not too bad for me
  18. it was a good day met some nice people and seen some nice zeds and the guys with the 300's were nice people too got into talking to some of them as my dad used to own one shame about the weather but it could have rained non stop instead of just showers least we had some sun all in all it was a good day i got some good pics of the zeds and other cars and will post them when i get a min Cheers to the people i met, and to everyone else
  19. nope not a roadster though i did see one last year i think it was SBY at the end i'm 99% sure, it looked clean
  20. i think that's a after market alarm then I don't know for so sure so don't quote me on that as it's an import model and i don't know what standard alarm they use over there on a zed but if it is an after market alarm there must be a battery of some sort in the fob. Can you post up a picture of the fob or whatever you use to unlock/disarm it, that will be a big help to us and to you. I think one of my mr2's i had, had a cobra alarm i'll have a look see if i can find an old hand book on the alarm if i still have it tucked away oops
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-Z33-2003-2008-3-5L-V6-COUPE-STANLESS-STEEL-EXHAUST-BACK-REAR-BOX-/220868600441?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item336ccb6279 Has anyone bought this or know of anyone who as bought it if so what does it sound like? I can't imagine it will be that great for the price but you never know
  22. hmmm some interesting comments there guys i'm so undecided on what to get now haha, i will have to see some in person as i never think you can ever get the full proper sound hearing it on youtube or anything over the internet as i'v made the mistake before i'm going to japfest on saturday so if i see any of you would any of you mind if i could hear what these exhaust's sounds like on your car??

    Undertray

i had to take my front bumper off the other day so i had to take the undertray off, and all the screws were tight as hell i snapped a few getting them off they were that tight, good old mechanics these days never greasing anything afterwards!!! Where ever the previous owner took my zed to get things done, the mechanics were monkeys all it needed was a tiny bit of grease like some other things on the zed and on my other cars and it would make life sooooooo much easier and stop everything from rusting and come off dead easy, it's not hard and it's not rocket science! Anyway enough moaning I had to replace the screws i snapped i just replaced them with ones of the same size screw and similar thread so that is all you will need to do
