  1. I was not a huge fan of the GT40, but this version is stunning. Very nice, love the way the air is channelled through the body, front to back. Bet it looks even better in the flesh.

Never thought I would be excited about a Ford, but I am now. . . :teeth:

  2. Like the idea of the buddy club, but worried about the drone.

    In 6th between 60 - 80 does it drone?

Is the drone only between certain rpm?

Only time it doesn't drone is at 0rpm

Think I will give that a miss then. Thanks for the heads up. I like a loud deep sound but not at motorway speeds. Would drive me nuts!

  3. Having just got married 3 weeks ago I know exactly how you feel.

The planning went on for over a year and the day went super fast and we didnt even get to notice half of the stuff we planned. But the guests had a great time and so did we.

Best advice I can give, book a nice honeymoon early on, and go on it if possible straight after the wedding, that way you have a holiday to look forward to when the planning gets you down. Worked well for us.

Be firm with others, its your day and nicely listen to peoples ideas and suggestions, then do what the two of you want to do.

And last tip, negociate with all the suppliers, seriously I didnt pay full price for anything. The margins they all make on wedding stuff is high so they can always negociate down.

Good luck and all the best - remember it will be a great day.

  4. Just seen this. Look great. It's the one I've been looking at too but from mad mods and have been advised to stay clear from em. Can I ask where did you get it from. Cheers

Hi ZZZebady, I got mine from Mad motors. They were a good company from my experience. Liked there customer service, got it all sent and delivered as promised and they were helpful with any questions. Dont get me wrong the diffuser only comes as a Glassfibre carcus, there is still alot of prep work and fitting required to make it look good. If you need any questions answered let me know, happy to help.

    :)

  5. Thanks for all the positive responses. It took the body shop a lot of hours to get it looking just the way I wanted, so cost quite a bit, but as with most things in life - you get what you pay for.

Like I said before big thanks to Keyser for his advice. :teeth: And thanks to all of you others who's cars have inspired me at meets like Wales etc. :yahoo:
