Bad news Ian - I am going to have to pull out of this. Absolutely gutted
A last minute thing has cropped up and I have no choice but to go and sort it out in London. Really sorry I hope that does not mess any of the plans up. Ian if you have paid a lunch deposit already let me know, I will reimburse you.
Have a great day all and apologies again.

Thanks for replies guys, what oil should I use for my spirited driving style, 5W30 seems the way, but which brand??
-
Best do an oil & filter change now while you have the opportunity & the cash
'cos once you get married you'll have to account for everything!
I use Motul 8100 5W30
That sounds like the best advice for sure!
-
I am surprised you can work out how much its used....
You sir are a genius
I am making the assumption that H------L on the dipstick is a 1 litre difference?! Am I wrong?

I would top up with the same oil used for the last service.
For future services use a quality 5w30 oil such as Castrol Edge. Quality oil does not come cheap. You get what you pay for.
Could not agree more. Do people think I am better off just changing the oil and filter for better quality oil and 5W30?

Hi All
4 months in and 5,000 miles (including Wales) engine needs an oil top up, about 1/3 litre, service record shows oil change in Feb, where Pro S400 5W40 oil was used.
Seen on here most say to use 5W30,
So my question is what oil should I top up with? 5W40 or 5W30? or something else?
I have no idea about oils, all I know is I love Driving the Z

Good to see you went back to have some more fun on the Monday. Looks like an interesting shortcut up that track. Maybe we won't add that to the official route next year
Expect Graham is a bit miffed he does not have that one in his sat-nav
"Left at the next T junction, then round the roundabout, follow the road for 536.7 miles and park up there on the left"
And all had to be done in Reverse!

If this doesn't make the calendar next year, I give up on humanity!
Well you better make sure someone submits it then
Couldn't agree more, fantastic shot. Well done whoever took it.

Graham, Colin, Darren, Will and everyone else, thank you for a great time. First outing with the Z Boys & Gals, have to say a very friendly and organised bunch of like minded people.
Will definitely be coming back to Wales and hopefully some other events too.
Massive thanks to anyone who was involved in the organisation of the days, you are the people who make the event happen.
Found out that the Z is a great car to drive, and can be really pushed, even in the pouring rain!
Nice to meet you all and see you soon.
Extra thanks to Graham for organising it all.

Hi SW folks. Put me down as a maybe for this, would be nice to meet the local gang. I'm based in Cheltenham so not far from Yate.
I'm new to the 350Z so would be nice to meet up. Also find out where you all get your cars maintained and any good specialists.

Let me just say one thing first, Ian is a top bloke and gives a fantastic service. He goes above and beyond and I take my hat off to him.
Here are some of the pictures of mine installed.
Thanks Ian, looks great.

How you getting on with this?
Honestly, not great. I dont enjoy driving it, it always feels like such a chore, i find it clunky and cumbersome. Will be getting rid in the near future i think.
Thats a shame dude. At least you can tick it off the bucket list hey.
