  1. Sad news on Sir Jack Brabham.

I think Red Bull will be challenging for the win in Monaco. If you look at the Spanish GP, down the straights, Daniel could not keep up with Massa down the main straight with the Williams pulling away but in the twisties, he was right up his chuff. So for Monaco, they should be very quick. Would be good to have someone else challenging for the win. Just hope its Daniel and not Seb.

  2. I had a 10-12 year love affair with Rx7s, from std (breathing mods/ecu) to the last incarnation which was 501hp. Great cars but my last few spent more time being fettled than driven and the ownership is getting dubious to say the least ;)

Would love an Evo, most likely a 6, again though i just cant escape the growing reputation of current ownership sadly, the same goes for later model scoobs!

Unless my budget stretched significantly i am not sure what i would change too, maybe the only temptation would be a R32GTR before they go mental in price.

This was my first and imho best Rx7 i had :)

Wow, that is stunning. I would not be sleeping very well if I had that car and then sold it. What a truly amazing looking car.

This question goes to yourself and Linus, why do you both have what appears to be alloy towing hooks on the rear of your cars?

Neither of those cars are mine, the red one is GMballistic but I can answer this. It's basically a tow strap for track days in case you need pulling out of the gravel. On my car, I had a fabric one tuck away under the car. This is a poor shot of my one.

  4. I thought I recognised your name from somewhere. Are you on the Type R forum??

    I was yes. ;) You?

I used to be on CTRO all the time and before that when I had my JDM Subaru Impreza I was on Scoobynet (probably 2007-2009).

Never change my user name as I've nothing to hide and really like it. Plus I can find my old threads over the net really easily. B):D

Were you both on Civinfo.com too?

    No not me I'm afraid.

Yes, still pop in now and again although I tend to go to the Integra DC5 forum these day. I am also on CTRO for although I never really used it. Also on Scoobynet as I have my Scooby still. Looks like we have moved in the same circles :)

Let's of stuff about me on the internet due to past exploits as well as car stuff :)

  6. I've gone from an Elise S1, to a Scooby WRX, to a Civic Type R EP3 and now an Integra Type R DC5. The plan was to go to a 350z after the EP3 but I could not find nice one and I wasn't done with Honda's yet. The DC5 was an itch I always wanted to scratch. I think after the DC5 then a 350z/370z will be on the cards :)

  7. There is this thread here which is "post up your previous cars"; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23174-memory-lane-post-up-your-old-car-pics-here/

Not exactly the same but...:lol:

Before my 350Z I used to own a 2003 Civic Type R 30th Anniversary Edition EP3. Not a bad car tbh although I never really fell in love with it like I have the Zed.

Next car, well honestly I don't want to get rid of the Zed ~ if I did then I wouldn't bother spending money on it.

  8. Cool....was worried it might be a bunch of petrol heads chatting about mods & cars

As long as it's not about detailing and how much beading they have on their paintwork :) Japfest was driving me crazy, I was getting serious withdrawal symptom from talking about track days and racing :)

  9. I think one of the first things to identify is what's causing the anxiety. Is it change, uncertainty, lack of confidence, lack of communication and the unknown or just generally someone who naturally worries and lets things get all out of proportion. There are many different things that can trigger anxiety so If you can identify what the triggers are, then it's a big step in being able to find the best coping mechanisms to deal with it. Also, it's very important to be able to identify what the triggers are so you can recognise early on when your anxiety is starting to take hold to allow you to react to them quicker. Even small thing like diet and changes to routine can have an impact.

There's a lot of good resources and help available these days and it's more accepted as a real issue rather than someone just being unsocial, quiet, aloof etc. The important thing is to not ignore it or bottle it up. A lot of GP's will accept it as a genuine concern and refer you to a specialist.

  10. Lovely sounding Azure blue 350z with black wheels, reg FD06 about 6.20pm tonight heading down the duel carriage way towards Frimley and you turned off towards Camberley. I was in the white Honda DC5 behind also getting frustrated with the slow drivers blocking all three lanes.

  11. Tried mine on Friday and wow, she's a fighter. Pulled the trigger and it nearly ripped my arm off. Fiddled with the dial on top and the nozzle bit as being a man I decided to ignore any instructions and finally got a nice balanced spray. Does an amazing job and is night and day over the rubbish thing that came with the Karcher. Just need some decent snow foam now.

I can highly recommend this lance and thanks to the OP for the heads up.
