  1. The flexis are required mate to allow the system a bit of movement as far as I know. So that when the car is bumping along at silly speeds the exhaust system isn't just one big rigid set up. What Infinity did to mine was fabricate a new Y Pipe but with only one flexi on the straight section as opposed to two on the angled sections. This still gives the system some movement allowance but A) Brought the cost down and B ) Reduces the chances of me wrecking it again because now there is only one flexi in the middle as opposed to two at the sides. Would you like Infinitys number mate? They may put you in touch with someone local to you that do the same? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  2. I had a 15 mile journey on the motorway with both flexis ripped apart to the exhaust place so I feel your pain, lol. Sounded like a badly modified Nova haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  3. You'll love it mate. Just leave the traction control on for the first week or so haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  4. Haha, nice price! Whats the specs on yours? 2004 GT mate so got the Bose, heated seats, Rays, cruise. Black with black leather. Gorgeous and goes great. Got 117K on the clock but with FNSH so kind of makes up for it lol. Needs a few little jobs doing but mechanically superb. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  5. Ian, the specialists tend to get you in ASAP as otherwise you'll just go to the next one. Infinity got me in for the following day. Exhaust and tyre places tend to have more of a back log of work and jobs to be done whereas special fabricators will get you in and out and take your cash ASAP lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  6. Don't buy a cheapy off of ebay. I did and it was useless lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  7. I thought this would come up eventually, lol I know that 99.9% of my questions I ask on here have probably been both asked and answered before, but being new to the community I like engaging and chatting with people about it. Sad I'm sure. I appreciate the help and answers I get from you guys and would rather communicate directly with people in any given subject than just type something into a search bar. Isn't that what Google is for? If my post about something infuriates then I apologise, but I'm just a new member trying to find stuff out and enjoy a natter lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  8. As HaydnH I bought one of these off ebay for a tenner delivered. Looks great and hasnt fallen off. Yet. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome and good luck with the repair! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  12. Looks good mate! Bought mine for £4500 so I still retain bargain bragging rights haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  13. Ian, I shredded both Y pipe flexi joins recently and had a brand new one made up and fitted by Infinity exhausts for £150 inc VAT. I'm not sure if there is one close to you but I highly reccomend them and they do it while you wait. Good luck mate! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  14. To be honest I don't do many miles and can afford to put decent fuel in, but was wondering if the Standard Unleaded Vs Momentum was just a Tesco scam. Tesco is about 1/4 mile away from my house so if the Momentum is decent enough then brilliant. If I need to put something better in then the advice is always welcome. Also, I have just filled the tank to the brim once again with the Momentum, is it a good idea to drop some injector cleaner in? I assume so so will get some tomorrow. Thanks guys! 15. Hey guys, When I first bought my 2004 350 I fuelled it to the brim with tesco Momentum (Their premium unleaded). It has drove just fine on it but I was wondering if it's really worth the extra money or if I'm being conned? Can you run a 350z on just standard cheap tesco unleaded or am I best sticking the good stuff in? Thanks in advance! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  16. Ah right cool. Will wait for my posts to reach 350 then lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  17. Hey guys, Ive noticed alot of members have the 350ZUK little vinyl sticker, how do I get my hands on one??? Thanks! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  18. You see I think that looks brilliant, so if going the black route I would leave the rim standard. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  19. Hahaha better save that for later then! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  20. I live about 1/4 mile from work but still drive as I'm fat and lazy. This kind of trip where the car is only running for 5 minutes at a time gives me HORRENDOUS Mpg. Probably 18 maximum. On a run the car seems to do well though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  21. Hmm, I wanted to see peoples pictures of black on black and considering the lack of them and peoples responses maybe it isn't such a good idea lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  22. I'll start doing that as I've always straddled them evenly. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  23. They look great mate! What did you do with those handles as I fancy going full on black with my car and may colour code the door handles too. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  24. Is this a direct bolt on kit mate? Comes with everything I need? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks mate, will measure tomorrow and see what the deal is. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
