Welcome to the forum guys.  Do you have any examples of the work you've done that you could post as pictures?  I know there's a link to the website above, but it would be great to see some live examples here.

It's looking great. I love that red on it.

You just have to be careful with them as they can have a few major draw backs.  The biggest one is a sticky throttle leading to excessive acceleration.

Once this happens its pretty difficult to fix as you'll pass 88 mph and end up back in 1955 where parts will be very hard to come by.

The second problem is your £40k buy price in 1955 money will then equate to just over £1M today.  It'll be incredibly difficult to sell on at that point without making a major loss!

The Goodyear's are waaay cheaper, at about £120 each...

I'll leave that to our forum tyre guru, but as a rule why do you think things half the cost are that cost?

I think old man Steptoe is absolutely off his head with his spending promises but I think Brexit would be the worst thing to happen to this country since WW2. 
It was almost looking good when our MP Heidi Allen (defected from Tories, staunch remainer) joined the Libdems but shes not running at next election after getting harassed.

Obviously you need to get the Bonnet open to be able to charge the battery so the fob works. 

Im sure he managed to get his hand inside the front wheel arch liner and pull on the release cable. Scratched hands/arms but its doable. Good luck mate.

 

Yes it's a PITA but it's doable. Actually better to do it a slightly different way, so if anyone ever needs to know PM me.
