  1. I had the same issue a few months ago on both keys, so feared the worst. I ordered 2 new batteries and then they both worked fine. These are the one's I got: http://www.amazon.co.uk/DURACELL-Lithium-Batteries-CR2016-ECR2016/dp/B002VR6PRM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1430770358&sr=8-2&keywords=duracell+2016 To replace them you just unscrew the little screw on the back of the fob and the replace it. I didn't have to re-sync it after either
  2. Just want to say thanks for the quick delivery and for producing and supplying this great plenum spacer. Looks nice and shiny in my bay and was easy to install with the instructions you provided. I have just finished fitting and have been out for a quick spin and it has made a noticeable difference to my Zed For anyone that doesn't already have a plenum spacer, I would definitely recommend you contact Ian and get one ordered. Thanks again and keep up the good work
  3. Bet that will be quality mate. You will have to get some pics up of it I was tempted to do something like that but decided I was going to make it into another compartment for my footy stuff instead lol.
  4. Hi, I did 20mm Eibachs on the front and 25mm Eibachs on the back. Looks great but wish I'd gone 25mm all round now. What ever you end up going with will only improve the look of your Zed
  5. I bought one of these side facing enclosures for a 12" sub the other week as I had an old Alpine Type R sub I wanted to use: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-Sound-upgrade-speaker-sub-box-12-10-stealth-side-enclosure-NEW-/151660650257? I've got to say its a quality build and fits perfect. I went and picked it up (as I live fairly local) and he gave me a great discount. Not sure where you live but if you're fairly close he told me he would make any custom sub enclosure for £100. Maybe worth dropping him a PM
  6. Hi, I'm in the middle of fully replacing all my speakers and sub and wiring them through to a 5 channel amp in the rear. Going to be putting in the amp shortly. Can anyone point me to a good place to ground an aftermarket amp in the cubby areas behind the seats, preferably using a stock bolt? I only have a 1m grounding cable and im installing it behind the drivers seat as im moving the sub to the boot. I cant seem to find any pics although i'm sure I've seen one on here somewhere... Any help appreciated Cheers
  7. Nice one. Will get one ordered now then Cheers
  8. Morning, I think your going to struggle to get a double din for £150 including cables and fitting etc. It cost me about £60-£70 for the double din facia, the cabling to get the bose speakers to work with my pioneer head unit and patch lead so the steering wheel controls worked. I got all these off InCarTec.co.uk. After you have bought the above, it means you have only got roughly £80-90 to spend on the HU. I doubt you will get anything amazing for that money to be honest. I'd suggest saving up for another month and getting something that you will appreciate and has everything you need. I only live 3 miles away from my work but I upgraded my HU to a Pioneer AVH X8500BT and its worth every penny I spent. One of the best mods IMO
  9. 3% cash back via Quidco for all Online Sales and Reserve & Collect. Every little helps
  10. I've recently ordered an OBD2 bluetooth adapter so I could use the Torque App in my 350z. Its not arrived yet but I've literally just remembered that I'm already using the port for my D1 Spec Throttle controller which means I wont be able to use both at the same time I had a quick look online and have come across this Y lead to split the OBD2 port so that two devices can be connected at the same time: http://www.amazon.co...s=odb2 splitter Has anyone on here tried one of these or is anyone currently using one of these with this same setup and found any issues etc?
  11. Renewed mine through Adrian Flux last month. Mine was around £420 with all mods declared and like for like replacement on aftermarket parts etc. I did a dial round between Sky Insurance, Adrian Flux and Chris Knots. To get the best deal I called up Sky and got a quote, the called AF who beat that quote, then called CK who beat that quote. I repeated this until I got the best quote possible and lowest excesses etc. I think it was 3 calls to each in total lol. AF came out the best. All comparison websites when declaring mods had ridiculous quotes for me so I wouldn't bother with them if you do have mods and are declaring them... Good luck with the renewal
  12. Going to be finishing off my car audio setup in the next few weeks now the weather is getting better and days longer etc. Looking to buy a 5 Channel Amp if anyone has one lying around that they want to sell? Would prefer one that fits behind passenger seat in the cubby but I don't mind if its bigger as long as it will fit where the spare wheel goes. Cheers
  13. Hi mate, I installed a pioneer AVH-X8500BT last year and used InCarTec to get the surround, harness and patch lead for steering wheel controls. I had the Bose HU but they do sell every model. Here's the link to the model I think you need: http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1034/2056/76/Browser.aspx Quite a few posts on here to help with the install if you haven't removed the center dash section before etc. Hope it helps.
  14. Yeh, its got settings SP1-SP9. SP3 is what I use and it just feels more responsive but still easy to drive in traffic etc. SP9 feels like you have planted your foot when you just slightly touch the pedal lol. Its fun!
  15. Nah, I haven't had any problems at all. Yeh, just returns to standard. Will only take a couple of minutes to remove if needed. Forgot to mention, my car hasn't had an uprev and probably never will which is the reason I bought one of these . If you have already had yours done then i'm not sure if it makes much difference, there were many debates on this when I looked. If you haven't/aren't going to get an uprev then the debates are irrelevant.
  16. Hi mate, I bought one of these a while ago now. Good fun when you first get it and are testing the different SP levels on the straights etc. I don't really change mine now tho, usually leave it in SP3 mode which just makes the car feel more lively and IMO how it should be as standard. Its dead easy to fit. I wired mine through to the change compartment next to the heated seat buttons so its out of sight but easily accessible. So I'd say if you've got £100 burning a hole in your pocket then get one as you will enjoy it. If your lucky you might find someone selling one on here. Enjoy
  17. ^^^ Thats where I got mine from for my pioneer. Link: http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1034/2056/78/Browser.aspx
  18. I will hopefully be getting started on them in the next couple of hours so I will let you know the depth using the OEM mounts. Yeh the standard bose speakers are awful! Was the same with my RX8. You think you're getting a premium sound system as standard and then after a week you realise it ain't so premium
  19. I'm going to be installing some Alpine SPG-17CS component speakers in the doors either today or tomorrow. What exactly do you need to know? From what I have found on the net, the front and rears are both 6.5". The rears will fit fine as there is lots of depth and for the fronts most people cut the old bose speakers out of the OEM mounts and use them. That's what i'm going to try. Eventually im planning on swapping out the rears but cutting out the original mounts to fit 6x9's and wire through to an amp behind the passenger seat. Are you thinking of doing the same? Not sure what to do about the sub yet...
  20. If its a 'Contractual Parking Charge Notice' you dont have to pay it. I had one from G24 a few months back for parking in a free car park and exceeded 3 hours stay and the I didn't purchase anything so couldn't send a receipt. I was just going to ignore it as I dont believe the majority of these companies even bother with court if you keep ignoring them but someone told me the law had recently changed on these charges so I went through the appeals process via POPLA (Parking On Private Land Appeals). A week ago I received my reply from POPLA informing G24 that the appeal was allowed. Job Done If it helps, check out moneysavingexpert.com as there are a few templates you can use as reasons not to pay. Usual 3 being: * The charge is not a pre-estimate of loss (usually because its a free car park) * Signage not complying the British Parking Association's Code of Practice * Not having the authority to issue parking charges by the land owner. (I won on point as G24 could not supply a contract to POPLA) Link here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4816822 Good luck
  21. You cant go wrong for the price. Hope you enjoy
  22. Feels more planted IMO, maybe slightly heavy turning when at low speeds. The wider stance is worth it though Tarmac Sports are doing another group buy on 20f/25r spacers, £100 for the full set which is a bargain! They look identical to the Eibach spacers in terms of the build and will save you £100+. Link here if it helps: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/90269-ts-350370z-20mm-and-25mm-spacers-group-buy-100/#entry1354767
