I treated myself to a Pioneer AVH-8500BT at Christmas and it works great. It wasn't the easiest HU I've ever fitted as I wanted it to sit flush with the centre console so I had to adapt the original bose brackets. Worth the hassle in the end though as it looks good and has about everything you need including smartphone screen mirroring via hdmi cable so you can use its sat nav and apps etc. It wasn't the cheapest to buy new in fairness but i don't think you can go wrong if you could pick a 2nd hand one up for a couple of hundred quid off ebay

I had an RX8 for 2 years before purchasing my Zed about 10months ago. I thought the RX8 was great to be fair (not half as bad as everyone makes them out to be) but the 350Z is just a beast and better in every way! I have loved every moment with it so far. You wont regret your purchase

Hi, Anyone got a boot cargo net for 350z coupe they want to sell? Fed up of my footy boots flying about in the back but £40-50 for a new one seems a bit extreme for what it is... If not, does anyone know the size of them so I can get something similar off ebay? Cheers

Hi, My exhaust has started to blow and I want to replace it this week (if possible). Im wanting to keep the look of the Zed standard but make a few refinements so was thinking the full Milltek System would be best choice from what I have read (but open to suggestions). If traders on here could drop PM me some quotes etc it would be appreciated. Also, gear change has got slightly notchy and at times its hard to get in 1st and 2nd gear, sometimes I have to double clutch. I've read numerous threads about this and have already had the gearbox oil changed on a P3 service but it hasn't made much difference. 1) Is it worth me doing this again with genuine nissan oil and molyslip as everyone seems to rave on about this? If so, how much will this be? 2) Wondering if this maybe the clutch on its way out as I don't know if it has ever been changed (at about 95k miles now). Any advise on this would be appreciated as I've never had a clutch go on me on any other car. Quotes on how much it would be for changing clutch and flywheel would also be good. 3) Could this be a bad gearbox in which case im going to be wasting money on all of the above? Have many people on here experienced a failing gearbox over the years or are they usually very hard and long lasting? Cheers

I only have the one on my profile from when I bought it as I recently got a new phone and lost on my last lot of pics. Its all standard and thats how I was intending on keeping it.........until I went on here and saw what you guys have done to you're Z's. Now I think my mind has been infected and I have a case of Wanttomodeverything-itus . Going to have to resist though and just do a few bits to refine it Traders, im going to drop a post in the wanted section now for a few bits. Replies and quotes would be appreciated Cheers

Hi Everyone, Thought it was time I said Hi seen as I've been signed up to the forum a few months now and never posted. Everyone calls me Cookie and I live in Sheffield. I got myself a 54plate gunmetal grey 350Z UK GT at the end of last year and have loved every moment with it since. Always wanted one when I was at school and couldn't resist buying one at the end of last year when I realised how much car you get for your money nowadays. Was actually looking for a sensible saloon with good mpg etc to replace my RX8 but something clearly went wrong... Just wanted to say that I think you guys have done a top job with the forum and that its a country mile better than any other car forums I have used in the past. I used this site before purchasing my Zed so I knew what to look out for and multiple times after purchasing my Zed for some small fixes, mods and walkthroughs etc. Every walkthrough I've used so far has been so helpful and gone to plan every time hence why I've never had to post. So just want to say thanks to everyone Next, I need a new exhaust as my current one is starting to blow. Am I best posting in the 'Wanted' section of the forum for best response from Traders etc?
