  1. To be honest I don't think think that many Chavy types drive type R's anyway. The insurance on them is still sky high until you hit mid twenties. Saying that, they are still very common and the older high milers look really cr@P.

With a few subtle mod's they can still turn heads tho, I think they look smart when done properly.

This one looks like it's been well looked after. All the mod's are tasteful and the work has been done by TGM. Knock a few hundred quid off the price and I'd be happy with that like, just a shame its done 100,000 + miles. Not that it matters with a honda anyway.

Think Im going to go test drive one and see how I feel. I could really use the extra couple of grand right now.

Going for a test drive can't hurt and it might help you make up your mind. Mileage wise I wouldn't worry too much about an EP3 with over 100K on it as long as it's been serviced regularly and had the oil level checked regularly too. Oil level is critical with the K20 engine to keep it running well and they will not engage VTEC if the oil drops below a certain level which is why before buying one you must always check the oil level & that VTEC engages smoothly around 6K rpm. My 2003 Type R that I just recently sold had 118K miles on it and still went incredibly well but I maintained it properly (and so did the previous owners). ;)

  2. Very impressive results rtbiscuit. I was talking to Super Stu I believe it was about the drivers door pull/electric switches carbon fibre dipped unit that you had done for him in the past as I was after one because mines all scratched up from some ring wearing previous owner. Can't afford it at the mo but please let us know if you ever start doing these again.

  3. I've got a Pioneer AVH-4400BT double din 7" touch screen in my Zed. Works with standard Bose speakers, steering wheel controls, I phones, Ipods, plays CD's/DVD's etc. Great unit ~ probably not available anymore but similar ones today from Pioneer/Kenwood etc will set you back maybe £400-£600 but worth it imo.

  4. Just feel like im ice skating up hill money wise at the moment. How much are kidneys etc worth these days? lol

Cheers for the comments, cant wait to go on holiday now, think il open a can of Duff to cheer me up.

Not that much that it makes it worth having your own removed ~ maybe try a Sperm Bank. Not much money involved per shot but lot's more fun then having your own kidney removed. Hope you have a good honeymoon and your money worries get better. ;)
  5. Well I just came from a Type R to my Zed and tbh I wouldn't go back. Not that the EP3 wasn't great but it just felt like more of a Chav's car especially with the low prices of some nowadays making them more affordable to, ...well, Chavs & boy racers. The Zed with it's leather/electric/heated seats and sports coupe styling is so much nicer imo. If I ever bought an EP3 again it would purely be for a track day car because as a daily driver I'd prefer something a bit more luxurious. ;)

I would argue the Zed is quite literally falling into the same bracket of affordability and accessibility to much younger more boy racer types... (not saying that is you btw!)

Not sure I agree with you there but I understand the Zed's are becoming more affordable but not quite in the same league as the Type R. High mileage Type R's can be had now for under £2K quite often where as you'd be hard pressed to find a similar aged Zed with similar miles anywhere near that sort of price. Plus the insurance alone should put the Zed out of reach for some younger drivers (I'd hope :) ).

  7. Doesn't have the GT pack but spec still sounds good, low miles for the year, fair price (could be knocked down I'm sure) & best colour too. B) Although it doesn't mention in the ad anything about service history though which is something I'd investigate further tbh. Still definitely worth a ring/drive/look at imo.

  8. I hope he pays for action :boxing:

I don't find it funny even as a joke played amongst friends also disagree with LRF4N for it being just a push.

I was pushed in exactly the same manner by a friend who thought it was funny, and 6 years on I have to live with a damaged spine and utter hatred for winters

cause the pain returns and makes life unbearable.

Totally agree with you. Someone pushed me like that once when I was younger and I suffered whip lash. Back then I didn't know what it was but suffered with my neck for quite a while afterwards. Luckily I got better. Sorry to hear you weren't so lucky HASH. The guy in the video deserves to get layed out by the Predator imo. Hope the Police do something about it now they've identified him,
  9. Cooling slam panel plate, stubby aerial, K&N/Cosworth panel filter, LED interior/exterior bulbs etc etc. Literally loads of things you can do depending on where you want to go (eg; performance/styling etc). Check out the traders on here and I'm sure they'll help you spend a hundred quid or more. :D

  10. I have just done a HPI check and they were able to tell me that it was first registered on Oct 2004 in the UK.

Job done? UK its is then?

Happy days. Hope the sale goes well & your driving a nice new Zed before you know it.
  11. Been looking on the net at some pictures of the Gruppe M for the 350. Not sure I like how the cold air feed is quite low down so going through deep water at speed may cause water ingress. Still looks awesome but not sure I'd be willing to pay the $1600 dollars andysmee mentioned & that it's advertised for most places, Would love to hear how it sounds though on the V6.

  12. Thanks for the replies guys

All I can say is that, it has the leather, brembo brakes and the bose stereo, would this make it a UK car. I tried to copy it over but, couldn't. Its on Autotraders web sit for £6199 in Blade silver. I have agreed a price verbally.

    Cheers

    Paul

This one; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201310209376323/sort/default/usedcars/price-to/7000/price-from/6000/model/350_z/make/nissan/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/quicksearch/true/radius/1500/postcode/cf158rl?logcode=p Look's like a UK car to me.
  13. ^^ Check the previous page WhackyWill. Look's like the eBay fraudster has taken a bit of a kickin'. Nothing he doesn't deserve from the sound's of things though. ;)

I think he specifically meant what happened to Vlad

    Oh.

oh nothing happenned to me lol Im just happy that waste of space got some beating :)

Plus 1. Nice to know Karma does come for those that deserve it. ;)
  14. Nothing wrong with making a profit fella, how else are you going to eat

 Just couldn't believe it at the time how much people where willing to pay for a Gruppe M. It did help me eat well for a while that's for sure.
