Welcome aboard. One recommendation if you're still running on the standard exhaust system is that I'd try an after market exhaust system and possibly even HFC's (High Flow Cats) if you can. The sound of the V6 is so much better imo once the exhaust has been changed. Lot's of options available for you though if you decide to do that one day. Not sure I can help you but have you tried the ECU reset to see if that helps clear the EML and restore normal operations? Here's how; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/ That garage doesn't sound great tbh if they cannot even set up their own equipment correctly. Are there any better garages nearby you could use? like are you near any of the more recognized Zed specialists from on here? eg: Horsham Developments, CS, Abbey Motorsports, TDI etc. Free bump anyway and hopefully some more replies will follow to help you out.

Off topic sorry but I would really bin that T-cut if I was you. Soft paint on our cars from what I've read and T-cut is just bad news. I replaced mine with this Meguiars stuff which is much kinda to the paint work.

The Gecko camera mount should work a treat. The camera mount I've got is a cheap single suction cup £5 ($9) eBay job one and it held my probably 1kg camera on the back window outside whilst I gunned it down the road. I really need to get a Go Pro camera though as then I'll be able to do a proper video worth sharing.
